The work progressed slowly as the land was cleared. The pace seemed to increase as the building was put under roof. Then the pace seemed to slow as the more detailed interior work was being completed. But this is simply the nature of the building process. And in some cases, the decisions which we made about changes to the original design, the kind of flooring, etc. caused some things to have to be redone or modified. This too caused some contruction delays. And as the home neared completion, the work seemed to take forever, primarily because we were getting increasing anxious to move in. The reality is that Chuck and his people took enough time to do the job right. He cheerfully endured owner imposed changes during the construction process. I have heard horror stories about the home building process or the contractors from others who have had a home built. I can truthfully state that I never had the first issue ..... thanks to Chuck Nelson and his people.
