The contractor was hired on a handshake... big mistake. I was charged for material without an itemized list. He came late, left early, charged me for hours that he was not at jobsite. The major problem was he was hired without a binding contract, and no job finish date. If you get an estimate from this guy, get it in WRITING. He likes to fib...the overall experience was horrible.

His work is okay and he didn't leave a mess of any kind. The job took him 2 1/2 weeks and he originally said it would take 1 week. I bought 90% of the materials and he charged me $978.81 for materials.. such as drywall, some odd pieces of lumber, some pvc drain pipe, paint and spackle. oh I forgot he bought a stainless steel supply line and an escutcheon . there was no itemized bill for material. The 85 hours for labor was just an out and out lie. The only professional was to handle the situation was to pay him and report him to angies list.
