Horrible. I put trust in a company and I am still struggling to move into the home with my two daughters.
Description of Work: Home Inspection BEFORE purchase of home. Home was an estate. I am a widow with children. Have no one to look at a home. I advised the inspector I needed an indepth home inspection because the home had NO DISCLOSURE. The inspector inspected the home and missed a Slab Lok (recalled for causing house fires and deaths in NJ) electrical panel-even though it was written right on the door of the panel. Blamed a damp basement on gutters to close to the house. The basement FLOODS with water spraying out of the walls. A broken chimney which is also a fire hazard as well as carbon monoxide. I could go on and on.... He wrote that the home was solid and would take less then $2,000.00 to fix any problems. The estimates are over 10K at this time and growing. I attempted to remedy this and was advised that the contract I signed had a line where if the inspector made errors and I could prove it, the most I could receive was the price I paid for my inspection!! BUYERS BEWARE of your contracts.
