Paul Shoenberger Plumbing & Heating

Paul came to our house the next day and repaired /replaced the trap in our basement tub. He also made it easier to correct any issues that ewe might have with that trap in the future. With all that said we would not use any other plumber or anything else that Paul and his company are Qualified to offer.

He ripped me off. He came and I don't know what he was promoting. He ended up saying that once I agree to another service, like I had to pay more in order for him to troubleshoot so I did, and in order for him to put the freon in which he said he would do on the phone call. He said he wouldn't unless I bought a piece of sealant which was $150 more. He said he had found a leak and that was the leak, but it wasn't. I basically threw away $150. If he doesn't like it he can call me and refund my money or take the thing back that he said would fix the problem, but he didn't. He was responsive.

Excellent. No pressure but suggested a replacement of the garbage disposal.

It was fair. He was kind of late. He fixed the problem. He got there really late. It was 8 or 9 o'clock at night before they got here. The quality of their work was fine. I wouldn't recommend them.

I absolutely love my kitchen.? It was a total remodel.? Paul, Charlie and Paul's son did an awesome job and they made sure that everyone else?taking part in the remodel did? what they were contracted to do.? His disappointment with the"?finishings" done by the company hired to?install the countertops and backsplash, brought the President of the company to my home on a Friday,?to assess his crew's work and to apologize to me for such an unprofessional job.? A new crew corrected the problems the following Monday.? As a professional kitchen remodeler, Paul saw things that I, as consumer,?did not know to look for and I feel so fortunate to have had him to oversee the project.? Needless to say, my husband and I?think he and his crew are top notch and won't hesitate to refer him to family and?friends.? This review should be listed in the Kitchen Remodel?category and I will contact Angie's list?to ask that they list it accordingly.

The guy never showed up. He was supposed to come and then he rescheduled. Then I got sick and was in the hospital for 4 months and he never made contact with anyone in the family.

Very well. He was very quick and informative. Also appreciated that although he recommended a new disposal, he gave me options and did not pressure me to buy one.

He responded to my phone calls promptly and arrived at the agreed upon time.  He drained my hot water heater and checked

toilets for leaks.  He also tightened a kitchen faucet, fixed a stopper in another bathroom, tightened the spigot on an outside

water line and replaced the inner workings on another toilet.  He also diagnosed the need for a new leader hose on another outside water line.  I would use Mr. Schoenberger again without any hesitation and will readily recommend him to my friends.

 

It went according to my expectations. Paul contacted me within a few days, came out for the estimate within a few days and the work was started and completed in less than 1 day including all cleanup and removal of debris. Very pleasant to work with

Not well, Paul was due at my home at 12noon. I called him at 1PM to ask if he was coming. He hesitated and said he had a medical emergency. I asked when he was coming and I offered to reschedule. He said he would be here at 2PM. He arrived at 2PM, 2 hours late, without a phone call when he was 1 hour late. I purchased the hot water heater flush, he did a partial flush because of the "age" of my heater ( 8 years old) and it had never been flushed. He put on his booties and hooked up the hose to drain out the back door. When he was finished he walked out back into the grass which was now wet and then carried the hose out through the front door still in his booties and tracked grass into the house because his booties were wet!   He could have gone out through the breezeway door or the garage! We did discuss a tankless water heater, he bad mouthed the tankless system telling me it would take me 22 years to recoup the cost of the system!
He was suppose to check the water pressure, inspect the emergency shut off valve,check the water heater thermostat for proper proper operation. I did not see him do any of this, we certainly did not discuss any of this. 
He did not check all faucets are operating properly, did not inspect all exterior water pipes and hose bibs, he fixed 1 and missed the other 2. he did not dye test the toilet,he did not inspect my visible gas lines for potential damage and check it electronically for leaks. I did not say anything because I wanted him gone.  I used this deal because he has an A rating on Angie's List. 
The price to fix the burst pipe was an additional $75.00 which I thought was reasonable.Did I misunderstand the deal?
I have been out in the yard to use the hose in the garden and I noticed what a sloppy job Paul did on the repair. I now have several stains on my brick wall from whatever he used on the pipe. I saw him brushing something on the pipe after he soldered it but was not close enough to see the stain. I will not use Paul again!

He came in and very quickly got the toilet unclogged. This was a problem we had been dealing with for several days.

They were very good. Plumbing guy was outstanding. There was no problem at all and that was 6-7 months ago. He showed up on appointment and came on time. He did the work and I don't think it took more about an hour and it's been working fine since. I noticed that when he came into the house, he put those little booties on his shoes. His personality is very forthcoming, very informative and he kept telling me what he was doing. Everything went fairly well.
