Grant Devlin
About us
For the past 10 years, I have worked in a corporate environment in procurement and logistics. While I have excelled in my previous roles, I was unfortunately laid off June '24 due to organizational changes which were out of my control. While I am submitting applications for new positions, I am feeling ambitious enough to expand my career opportunities with familiar knowledge in construction. Prior to corporate work, I was an electrician performing custom residential and commercial installations on the Main Line. I completed electrical installations for about 2.5 years prior to going to college (Temple U.) to pursue my business degree. Since I was a teenager, I was always very fond of construction and have been practicing all phases of construction since including but not limited to: demolition, framing, electrical, plumbing, drywall (and finishing), carpentry/trim, tiling, masonry, stucco, etc. I have received many compliments on my own home as I rarely hire anyone to do my own housework. Why am I here? I am seeking business opportunities to 'partner-up' with local contractors. My thought being: to purchase a small/medium-sized dump truck and assist with hauling debris or materials to/from sites, and tack on more finishing work as needed. I can hire help on my end if required. Obviously, discussions are in order to set up an agreement, but the end-goal being to have an arrangement of steady work ahead to have a mutually beneficial venture. Since my first job as a cook at a pizza shop in High School up until my recent layoff, customer service, reliability, and being a team focused individual have been key drivers to my success. Let's build a business even further!
