General Remodeling
This was a traumatic experience. The contractor designed plans that did NOT include a perimeter footing despite my inquiries about such a footing. The contractor attempted to take a shortcut by placing 3 concrete piers. Needless to say, it failed inspection, but the contractor attempted to charge us an additional $2800. We met him halfway and the contractor agreed install floor and paint. We supplied the paint, skylights, wood floor, sliding door, gutter, and steel door. Contractor was supposed to deduct 300 dollars for door; however, he forgot when it came to pay the final bill. Contractor loves to use his family and five kids as leverage. I would steer clear of this so called company at all costs. George is like Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde; by all means, do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs.
