Good job.  No issues.  The assistant (Fiore) did quality work.
Only concern is that the job was not very large and it seemed it was being squeezed in between other jobs.  Mr. Bini was often running between the sites.
Would recommend them.

The job was slow and unfortunately had many things go wrong with it.  The estimated time was one week to removed and retile the floor and tub tile.  The removal took longer than expected as did the rest of the job.  Removal was slow with the crew he provided and he had to make many visits to ensure work was being completed.  Once the tile was removed Matt and Josh worked together spending twice the estimated time to install the tile.  The tile around the tub although was carefully installed, unfortunately was not aesthetically pleasing to the eye because the top and bottom rows were/are not equal in size.  The tile at the entrance of the bathroom  is not the same size.  One in particular is 1/2 inch shorter creating a larger grout area in comparison the neighboring tile pieces.  We had specified a white grout to be used because the tile was white marble.  The grout he and his crew used was off white/grayish which made it look "dirty".  They removed the grout, noThey started tiling from the middle of the wall rather than from either the top or the bottom.  Matt had trouble installing the floor tile and ran into the same problem.  At the very end of the project Matt screwed in the vent cover and unfortunately he punctured a water pipe which resulted in our basement flooding as well as the main floor.  It took him another 2.5 weeks to fix this disaster and communication was not smooth.  We have an uneven ceiling as well as yellowing drywall seams in our family room from his work.  Although, bad luck, he took full responsibility for the mishap which extend the "construction" time far beyond what we had planned.

Matt is a very nice man and though forth coming with good intentions.  We felt the work completed was not up to par and as they say "you get what you pay for".  We certainly did.

This review is a little late but at the time I was very sick.  Matt was very understanding and very helpful during this time.  He came over and listened to all the things that I needed, making a list.  He checked everything out and we set a date.  He got all the materials.  He came at the agreed upon time and got everything done and I was very satisfied with everything.  I have hired him
several times since and left a key for him when I couldn't be there.  He did the jobs right again.  I will will hire him again in the future when I need work done.

It turned out that they were basically day laborers. They got the work done and filled a dumpster with the concrete, but I was not too happy with the service. The service was not very organized. I had to direct them on exactly what to do and they did not really know what to do. The first two days I had them doing things. On the third day, he called me and said I would have to pay more money for him to come back out which was not as the deal stated. I just told him to not come back out. They picked up their equipment and left. From the Deal description, I thought I was going to get much more from their work.

Matt was a very good worker who really showed to care for his customers. When he removed my tile and plaster he saw mold on the insulation around my skylight. He notified me and replaced it without charging extra on his original quote. When he was here he also hung a medicine cabinet and light fixture for me in the same bathroom. He was on time every day and when I needed to get a hold of him he answered or texted back within minutes. I will be using Matt for other projects I need done in the future, no questions asked!

We bought this coupon since we just moved into a new house and didn't like the existing kitchen backsplash.  It took a couple of phone calls and texts to arrange the timing of the work.  The work took longer than anticipated due to difficulties in removing the tile.  Once the new subway tiles were installed we noted a difference in quality between one wall and the other.  The wall of tile over the stove looked perfect since they installed a new piece of dry wall backing.  The tile on the opposite wall over the sink however came out more irregular with some tiles popping out more than others and the grout lines were not as straight and even.  Hard to say whether this was due to the differences in underlying surfaces, or experience in who applied the tile (done by Matt - the main contractor, and his assistant), or both.  We weren't happy with how that wall over the sink looked.  Matt was was nice about it, sent his assistant who came back and made some adjustments which made it look better (but still not quite as good as the other side).  In the end would have given an A if both sides came out looking perfect, but for the price we're happy with the work overall.  Plus Matt and his assistant were very friendly and willing to work around our busy schedules.

Everything went extremely well.
It was extremely easy to contact the provider.  Most times when I called him, he picked up the phone immediately.  The few times I had to leave a message, he returned my call that very same day.
He worked with my schedule to find a convenient time to do the work.
He was punctual.
He relocated all the appliances into the living room.  He made sure that my refrigerator was immediately plugged in.  He made sure that every night I either had a working stove or a working microwave to cook with.
At the end of each work day everything was very neatly picked up, and when the job was completed, everything was put back in place and everything was cleaned up.
And most importantly - the floor looks great!

Bruce was very responsive. He contacted me the day after I purchased the deal, came over the next evening to look at the job and was out to start a week later. He removed the old floor & baseboard tile in the upstairs bathroom, repaired the wet bed and set new tile. This was day one, day two he came back in the early evening and grouted the tile. Overall I am very happy with the job, Bruce was very responsive, kept me informed before during and when completed. I will definitely use Brandywine GC again.

Met with me within a week of my purchase. Game plan was simple, chose a date to start and he then called to remind me about the wall material and how to purchase it so he could pick it up and deliver. Arrived promptly when they said and went right to work. Took 3 days total to complete. Looks great, neighbors comment positively and I am very happy with the finished look.

He was hired to rebuild/repair our side porch.  It looked great at first, but after a few months the corners he cut became quite apparent.  He didn't use deck screws or even galvanized nails on the deck, just regular nails.  The deck is stained with a colored stain, and after a few months the rust came through the paint.  Now, every time it is re-stained, the rust comes through again after only a week or two.  No way to fix this other than to take the whole thing apart and replace all the nails with proper deck screws, which would be cost-prohibitive.  Boards that were warped and needed to be properly reattached were just nailed down with regular nails and popped back up again after a year.  A portion of the overhang that was supposed to be repaired was not repaired, even though he indicated it was.  He also repainted the porch when it wasn't dry yet (he'd power washed the day prior, but it rained in the afternoon) -- I questioned him about this and he said it was dry enough.  The paint all started peeling off and was a complete mess within 8 months.  He did some nice extra things for us (like power washing our sidewalk, since he had it out anyway, and giving us some leftover materials he had from another job), but I'd rather have just had the job completed properly.

I believe i wrote all of that up above.   He did a great job, and was extremely professional.  He had one other worker with him as he needed to be cutting the tiles to lay and the other was removing old floor.
All of his work was exceptional and am now receiving compliments on the new floorl
have nothing negative to say about his work or his behavior   he was a gentleman at all times and went the extra mile for the entire job.   I very much appreciate the work that he has done

I used an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service. The owner, Bruce, is very personable and has a large personality. He is very nice to talk to. He was very punctual when he came to give me the estimate to look over what needed to be done and to tell me if he could do it. We set an appointment for approximately a week. Approximately 10 minutes before the time he was supposed to be here he called and gave me no excuse; only saying he would not be there that day. He said he would call me in a few days and we would reschedule; which he did. It took about another week and, again, he called me right at the time he was supposed to be here and said he was going to be delayed about an hour because he was working on another job and it was taking longer. I told him this would be okay. He actually finally came about two hours later. They did a beautiful job and I was very happy with what was done but I don't know if I would hire him again because I don't know if he is reliable or will show up when he says. They cleaned up everything around the work they did. They left nothing behind; which was nice. There were three men who came out to do the work. It was a very good deal and they were all dressed neat and clean. He gave me an estimate on something else and it was about 25-percent higher than another company.

I used this service through an Angie's List Big Deal.  It was for 3 hours of work, but the tasks took longer than 3 hours and he did them without charging me extra.  In all, I am very satisfied with the work that he did.  The only complaint I would have is that it was difficult to get in touch with him and it took him a few days to get back to me.  Nevertheless, I would still highly recommend this company.

He is competent and he is reasonable.  However, after he left, I noticed that flapper of the toilet was not coming down when I closed the water, so it kept flushing water, but he came back and fixed it.  Overall, he is good and his competent level is quite acceptable.  In addition to the three-hour big deal, he did more, and he came out and did it in two days.  The next day, for the paint job in my bathroom, I told him to put on two coats of primer, and while it dried, he installed the light in my kitchen and replaced the smoke detectors, but he couldn’t finish the last coat, so he said he would come the next day, he did, and he finished it.  Some parts that he had painted looked uneven at the corner, so I asked him if he could correct that, and he said that it would take a lot more time or something like that and he refused to do that, however, it was not a major defect but it was not perfect either.  The second day, he worked for about one and a half hour and his regular price is $45 an hour, which is cheaper than most handymen, but that maybe because he didn’t charge me the trip charge as he was already here, so I don’t know how he would charge others.  I gave him extra $100, he was very happy and he left.  Before he actually came to do the work, he stopped over and said that he wanted to talk to me and see what I wanted done, to estimate what he could do within the 3-hour big deal offer.  For the garage door problem, I had other handymen look at it and they all tried to rip me off, they all told me that some springs needed to be replaced and wanted to charge me over $1700.  The handyman from Brandywine looked at the doors, he was very honest about it, and he told me all I needed was a new garage door opener, so he saved me a lot of money.  Apparently, at that time Sears had a sale on them, they had a ten-year warranty, so I bought it for $149 and their technician installed it for another $150.  So it came out be just about $300, when the all other guys wanted to make it a bigger job and charge me over $1700, so I was very happy with that.  He spent almost an hour in my house before he started working and he didn’t charge me anything, for that time so I was very happy with him.

Very responsive initially, but seemed eager to get it on the calendar (I was going to wait until a delivery came to have some pictures hung). Did great work but did not move pots back when complete (that are too heavy for me to move on my own). Very nice though.

Matt came out beforehand to survey the requested work to be done within the Handyman/General Contractor hours purchased through an Angie's Big Deal. That work of replacing a working, but out dated front yard lamp post was done promptly and efficiently a few days later by his 2 man crew. On Matt's first estimate visit he also gave us an estimate for  reattaching our back deck, which was installed incorrectly by the DIY previous owners. It had separated and dropped from the house and door threshold. That work was done a couple of weeks later when there was to be a possible break in the winter weather. Matt (whom has extensive deck experience) and his 2 guys came out and removed the specific rotted areas of wood we agreed on across the whole deck. They thoroughly inspected and repaired the area to be reattached and added flashing with a more efficient design to waterproof. The 2nd day the men shoveled 3" of snow off both levels of the deck and completed the job in good time and with good quality. Matt was good on communicating promptly and scheduling. He  listened to our requests and advised us on possible improvements he could do, while still working within our budget and estimate, which was comparable to other estimates and very reasonable. We were treated with respect and honesty. We would have this crew back for more projects.
