Modern Vac & Sew Centers has continuously been servicing the local communities since 1950!! We offer over 20 brands of Vacuum Cleaners, Sewing Machines & Carpet Shampooing Equipment at low discounted prices, with over 125 new models on display. No one tries, tests and repairs more machines than our mechanics upon which our recommendations are based. Our repairs for ALL BRANDS of Vacuums Cleaners & Sewing Machines, by Modern's own staff of factory trained & authorized technications, comes with a written warranty. We also have the largest inventory of supplies, parts, bags, belts, filters, etc. in the Delaware Valley. If an item is needed that we do not stock it can be ordered and received in just a few days.

Services we don't offer

We can not (due to insurance limitations) come out to a customers home to service a Central Vacuum System. However, any item [including the power unit] that can be brought into one of our locations Modern Vac can repair or replace said item at substantially reduced prices.

I recently went to Modern Vac and Sew in Dresher to pick up vacuum bags and noticed the new Simplicity Vacuum (in Apple Green). Although I didn't need the vacuum, I knew I'd make use of it on the second floor of my house. Its almost effortless pushing the vacuum which makes my life a bit easier. In addition, it is great for people with allergies and picking up hair from my cat. I also like that I'm helping to support local business owners. I would not hesitate recommending the store.
Description of Work: I purchased a Simplicity Vacuum from the Grant Avenue Store in 2015. I was reluctant in buying it since I was unfamiliar with the brand. The salesman was well informed and patient when answering my questions so I felt comfortable with buying the vacuum.
