Victor Samkavitz Custom Painting

11/14/2018 This is my second review on Victor Samkavitz Painter. I had Victor & Jessica come back to my home for a second time to do more painting (Guest Bedroom, Hall Bathroom, Laundry Rm, SunRoom, Living Rm). Again they did an exceptional job and I am 100% satisfied. My Son & Daughter-in-Law are in need of painting in their home and I decided to give them a Christmas Gift Certificate from VICTOR SAMKAVITZ PAINTING. Victor will send me a Gift Certificate to present to my kids for Christmas. This made my gift giving to easy and my kids will love it.

I contacted 5 painters for quotes to paint the interior of my home (walls, ceilings and kitchen cabinets). 3 of the 5 painters were on my list to consider. I choose Victor because of her prompt responses to my questions and to give me a starting date. Victor's price was pretty much in line with the others and it was fair. This company is a husband and wife team, which I thought was very cool. They both were very professional and their work was excellent. They completed all the work is less than a week and very clean, I had no mess. So, I am now having them come back to do more painting in my home. Just love them! Oh, my kitchen cabinets look beautiful, like brand new...

We hired Victor to paint the two story areas of our home. Immediately we seen the quality of his work. He is a painter, not a guy who paints. Because of this, his reasonable pricing and most of all, his honest approach in handling his business, we hired him to paint our entire home. It was a pleasure to do business with him and we intend to hire him again for our future projects.

Having never hired a painter before(We are do it yourselfers), we were thrilled with the experience! In 1 1/2 days we went from start to finish. Victor was responsive to our initial calls, flexible with his scheduling and his crew was friendly and professional. No need to look any further for a painter!

Came on time. Did great job of protecting furniture and carpets. Did great job of prep. Did great job of painting. cleaned up nicely and was in and out quickly.

Completed the entire house in 3 weeks. Did a great job and was very responsive to any requests. Very nice folks.

Everything was extremely positive.  I trust Victor and he completed great work.

Exceptionally professional! Preparation pays off: moved and covered furniture to minimize the time. He is fast and efficient! There was absolutely no clean up necessary on our part.  Just sat back and enjoyed the freshly painted rooms!  He assisted in our selection of textures and colors; he used premium paints on the walls and ceilings as well as premium stains   The faux finishes in our bathrooms are a "showpiece" of the home!  We would go so far as to say he is an "artist" as opposed to a painter. I wouldn't trust my walls to anyone but Victor.

I at first thought I wanted the island white with a glazed finish.  I told him what white (to match our woodwork) and then he painted a swatch and I realized it was the wrong color.  He calmly got out his paint fan deck and we picked another color which I preferred (still a white, just different).  Then, after he had put on the primer and two coats of paint, we decided to skip the glazing.  He was
perfectly calm about that and said he was glad we had what we wanted.  He was fortunately able to start his next job a day early, since I had cut two steps out of his process, and he was extremely pleasant with a non-decisive homeowner (me).  His work was clean and tidy, and he left with everything in perfect order.  He told me he's not the cheapest, but I know he's good and, given the size of the job, I thought he was reasonable.   I heartily recommend him.
