Although this job was done long ago now (2000) I believe before Angie's list existed, I wanted to write a review because a good measure of quality is whether a job stands the test of time. We still get compliments on the room addition Phil Heacock Builders did for us. We still talk about it ourselves ... how Phil Heacock brought in some of the best people for separate aspects of the job. On this old house there were definitely some challenges along the way during the addition's construction -- Phil always found solutions. Some details of special note were the drywall installers and tapers Phil Heacock brought in. They did an exceptional job and it still looks exceptional. The electrician he brought in also did an outstanding job, planning the perfect lighting, and wiring for myriad equipment needs while also looking ahead to make it easy to string any wires we might want to run in the future. The large slider windows were installed perfectly and were trimmed beautifully by his foreman and they have withstood the test of time. The sliding door Phil chose from Norm Schorr was damaged a number of years ago by a lawn-mower-tossed rock, and Norm Schorr's pleasantly made good on the warranty with a complete replacement. Phil was professional and nice to work with from planning stage to finish. These are just a few of the things we still talk about all these years later.
