John is very professional and easy going.  We are so happy with his suggestions.  My husband can't stop talking about how nice the vertical shades for the sliders look in our dining room.  John suggested Scotch guard for the kitchen shades and he took care of putting smaller handles on the windows so the shades come straight down.  Paul did all the installation and noticed that the living room and kitchen shades came in as room darkening.  It wound up being the manufacturers error and as soon as it was resolved, Paul came right out and installed the corrected shades.  They look beautiful.  After my initial deposit, I was not charged until the error was corrected and the install was completed to my liking.  In the future if we are in need of any more window treatments, John will be who we call.

This is the third time I have used John for Window treatments, he has done numerous rooms in my house. From start to finish it is always a pleasant experience. He immediately got of feel for my and quot;styleand quot; and never tried to convince me of something I didn't want. He has given great suggestions when I'm not exactly sure of what I want (such as this time with the luminette sheers and the soft shades.) He has never tried to steer me in a more expensive direction, he lets me know if one idea is much more expensive than another. He has a great eye for what combinations work together. I am happy with every room he has done and the choices we have made. He is very prompt with setting up an appointment and getting everything installed once it's ready (which is also pretty quick). I wouldn't consider using anyone else.

When I asked for a home consultation via e-mail, I received a call back from John that very night. We set up a time for that Saturday. The doorbell rang exactly the time he said he'd be there. His presentation was very professional and he was very patient with us when we were trying to pick out colors for our shades, even making suggestions for us.
The following week we had some more questions and John answered them over the phone - again, being very patient with us.
We ordered the shades and they come in on time. When an appt was made to install them John and his installer were again very prompt and professional.
We absolutely love our shades and would highly recommend John's Window Fashions to anyone who asks.

Very well. Paul fitted them and they turned out great. When we decided to have them narrower than planned, John had this done at no extra cost.

Everything went fine. The shutters and valances were completed on time and installed promptly as promised. The appearance of the shutters after installation was even better than we expected. To provide the necessary clearance, the frame for the shutters is installed right over the window trim and molding. But you would never be able to tell except by looking up very close, it looks like the house was built that way. It looks great. Plantation shutters are very expensive, but are easy to care for and also dramatically enhance the looks of any space worth showing off. So we bit the bullet and spent the extra money. We had asked John to quote wooden blinds or shutters; he did not try to steer us into buying something more expensive, shutters were our idea.

JOHN IS VERY NICE, BUT HIS FABRIC SELECTION IS LIMITED. HIS PRICES ARE HIGHER THAN OTHER ESTIMATES I'VE SINCE RECEIVED. THE FINISHED PRODUCT TOOK MUCH LONGER THAN ORIGINALLY EXPECTED.
