We called for a small dry wall job (taping of joints that had been soaked due to roof leaks). He came and gave us an estimate which we thought was fair. We told him we would like him to take the job and requested a day that he would show up. My wife called to verify when he would arrive and was told 9:00 A.M. the next Monday. At 10:00 A.M. we called him to ask where he was. He then said he hadn't told my wife a time. I told him that she had not made it up. Then he made excuses about still being on the previous job. He rescheduled and showed up for that appointment. The first thing he did was carelessly move an etagere and broke an object which was on it. Then he made repeated, unsolicitated and unhelpful comments about my son's car which is stored in my back yard. After a while, I was tired of his comments and said, "You need to let it go. It is not your car. It is not your problem. You should let it go." He paused a moment, slammed his trowel into the bucket of spackle, said "I don't need this job." and left without performing the work. He left me to clean up after him.
Description of Work: He showed up to do the work, got insulted and left in a huff without doing any work, leaving a small mess although he hadn't actually done any work.
