I arranged through the Box It store for a small box truck rental for an upcoming move. I made sure that my own insurance covered the truck rental, and told the Box It store that I WOULD NOT BE NEEDING THE INSURANCE COVERAGE for the truck because I was already covered. When I signed the paperwork the day of the rental, I signed and initialed where I thought to be the DECLINE of insurance. A week later, I checked my bank account to find that I had been charged $700 for insurance coverage that I did not want. Thinking this was a simple error, I contacted Box It and was told there was absolutely NOTHING that they could do to reverse the charges. They claimed that I said that I wanted coverage-which I absolutely DID NOT !! The Box It store owner said that the mistake was mine and would not reverse the charges. The Box It store owners obviously did not listen to me when I declined the insurance and were COMPLETELY WRONG in stating that the error was mine. I find it disgusting that they did this and won't make any effort to remedy the situation. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND BOX IT to anyone...if you need boxes, go to Home Depot or Lowes...TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
