Matt and his crew provided very professional service. Job done on time and at a very competitive price . Will go out of his way to make customers happy. Will definitely use again if tree work is needed.

Great! This is the 2nd year in a row. Great price and great people to work with. They always make time for little jobs where other companies won’t even call you back. I will have them come back in the next year or two to take a tree down.

Top Notch did a fine job and I'd definitely use them again. Matt (the owner) came over to assess the work and give me a quote. Since he knew it was going to take most of the day, he proposed a day rate that would allow them to get the stuff I wanted done and then, should any time remain, tackle a few smaller items that could use some clean up.  This made it flexible for me on the day as we were able to get a few additional things done in addition to the core items all for a good price.  It was also just shy of half the quote another group that had come out and given me for the job.
The day of the work, the team arrived b/w 8:30 and 9am.  They moved quickly and efficiently with a bucket truck and chipper.  They cleaned up nicely as they went and cut rounds of fire wood for me from the bigger trunks. Some of the trees had poison ivy on them, but it didn't seem to bother the crew and they moved quickly to get the job done.  They're not a 'high end' outfit, but it was exactly what I wanted and expected from the work.
The only issue was that I had wanted some of the firewood stacked in a particular place and they left it elsewhere.  Part of the reason for this was because it was quicker though (and allowed them to get other stuff done I wanted), so not really a big issue and I didn't push for it once I saw what they were doing as I knew it would allow me to get other stuff done. If it is important to you though, do be clear on where you want the wood.
I'd definitely hire them for future work.

Matt was out very quickly to provide an estimate, and told me exactly what he would do, and the time frame.  We both agreed on a very fair price, and since I was not in a rush - I said for him to do at his convenience.  He called me the day before his crew was out to let me know, and they did a fantastic job!  He removed five small trees, and ground the stumps.  They cleaned everything up like they were not even there, and we are very happy with his work.  I highly recommend Matt and Top Notch, and he will be the first one I call for any future tree work.

It was great!  The provider did a great job trimming a tree that we have in the front of the house.

Matt Jenkins and his crew came with the big equipment and cleared my property of branches everywhere in just a few hours.
To do so, they had to drag them a distance to the chipper because it could not get in any closer. They did a thorough job.Matt responds to your calls ASAP and he kept me informed as to their arrival time. We had scheduled for yesterday but it rained all night and day so Matt came first thing this morning rather than putting me off for another week and I appreciated that. I also appreciated that Matt gave an immediate,estimate for the insurance adjuster based upon my cell phone photos and it was a fair cost so my claim was approved that day. I will definitely call Matt for all work in future and recommend him. He does tree service and is not a landscaper but he is going to recommend a landscaper to me for planting that needs to be done in the fall.

Matt and his crew turned up exactly on time on the scheduled date. They went straight into the task and worked through until it was completed. We had a lot of storm damage and they mulched it up, took out several stumps, cleaned up and in general made our property look presentable again. We've used Top Notch before and we'll use them again. Matt can be a bit abrupt at times but he really does a great job. He's done some pruning here and he actually looks at the tree to see how it's shaping up while he's working. I've experienced people who just hack away and leave the tree looking worse for wear. We give him and his crew a thumbs up review.

Originally, was told unsure of when job would be done because of the heavy snow cover.  Called to tell him snow was gone, he had room to fit me in with another nearby job.  Arrived  on time.  Matt and his crew got to work immediately.  Cleaned up as they went along leaving a clean yard behind. 
Matt and his crew are hard working and conscientious.  Pricing is fair. 
A couple of my neighbors saw the work he was doing and asked him to do similar work at their house.
I would definitely recommend Top Notch Tree Service to friends and family.  They live up to their name, Top Notch!

At the time of the first service, Matt told me he would have to come back at a later date to grind the stumps because of all the tree removal work he had.  I expected to see him in the summer or fall.  He contacted me earlier this week to schedule the work (completed on Wednesday).  Keeps his word and follows up with customers, still a A service provider.  I have recommended him to friends and will continue to recommend Top Notch to anyone in need of tree service.

It took a while because of weather; Matt wanted the ground frozen but no snow so that his truck would do minimum damage to the lawn. I do not see any damage at all from his large truck. They arrived as planned at 9 am, and were done about 1 pm. The cleaned things up completely, including blowing the dust off the driveway near where one oft he pines was trimmed. He and his guys were courteous, and trimmed a bit more back where I asked without question or cost.

For both appointments, Matt and team arrived as scheduled. It went well on both days.
The bushes and trees were removed quickly and without incident. The areas were cleaner when they left then they normally are - all the brush was cleaned up and chipped and taken away. They were pleasant to deal with, verified what work needed to be completed before work started, and walked through with me afterwards to make sure it was ok.
They came back last week for stump grinding - again arriving on time and confirming what needed to be completed. I asked that he take out a little bit of extra lawn next to the stump so I didn't need to till, and he was happy to take care of it. (That was a huge help - it saved me hours over the weekend and I was able to get everything planted.)
It took less than a half hour for everything to be done, and they cleaned up everything so it was spotless.
I'll use them again next year when I start cleaning up the backyard.

Matt arrived on time with his guys and got right to work on taking down the trees. He performed the job while we were at work and he was done before we even got home! Everything looked a million times better and I was happy to see that the yard was tidy; they had gone out of their way not to trash the place, which I have heard can be an issue with other Tree Services.
We have had Matt back to grind stumps and he will be taking down another tree in the front yard in the coming weeks.
We are happy as homeowners to have a reliable and trustworthy tree service in Top Notch.

Day one - clean up day. Matt and his team arrived on time and were super pleasant to deal with, they were there all day working hard.
He verified what they were going to do again before they started, in case I wanted to make any changes.
In the back yard, they cleaned up seven large trees towards the back. They took down a massive branch that overhung the house, and removed an old apple tree directly behind the house. They also removed several large shrubs and cleaned up a huge pile of brush the former homeowner left me. They piled up the wood for me for firewood, and cleaned up all the brush/branches - you couldn't tell they were there when they finished, other than the fact it looked 100 times better than when they started.
In the front of the house, they cleared about 50 feet of small trees and shrubs across the front, along the perimeter by the road. He cleared about 30 feet along one side wall, cleared out the prickly bushes and holly along the front of the house, and removed two large piles of brush. Everything was cleaned up before they left, and they took it all with them, other than the firewood.
Day two - stump grinding day. Matt and one other employee came back the following week to grind up all the stumps from the trees and the large shrubs, they got through it quickly. It was spotless when they left. They did a good job. I planted some stuff in the beds this past weekend.
