Tom had excellent knowledge and anticipated our needs.  He made sure we had the right bulbs and outside lighting.  The outlets were installed well along with the dimmers.  He was very responsive and was able to accommodate us quickly. Excellent work and I would recommend.  The only concern I had was the pricing as I felt it was high for the services received.

I first used Schumann on May 8 when my door chime burned out. Within an hour of contacting the company, they sent two guys out who promptly diagnosed the problem and replaced the chime and transformer. Because they did such an outstanding job, I didn't think of contacting anyone else after my microwave and hood lights/fan stopped working. I got a prompt reply from Tom Schumann that they would take care of it on Monday and gave me a window when they would arrive. When work on Monday delayed them, Tom gave me frequent updates on the revised time table - greatly appreciated so there was no wondering where they were. They quickly diagnosed the problem and made the repair.
I intend to call them as soon as I move into my new home at the end of the month for work there. I wouldn't consider using anyone else.

They were able to get me an estimate within a day and made an appointment for that same week. They were punctual, got the job done and cleaned up well after themselves.

I have used them several times. During the times I have used them I generally call them a few days before they can come out. They schedule the time and show up on time. They give ideas of how they can address certain issues. When the did the outside patio electric they ran conduit so if something were to happen to the electric lines they could be re-wired without digging up the flagstone or concrete. Occasionally the price increases during the engagement due to unexpected issues.

The company gave us an estimate before work was begun. We provided the overhead light fixture, and they provided the recessed fixtures and outlet. They were supposed to include installation of another fixture with the price, but when work was completed, they had forgotten to install this fixture. The company representative still insisted that we pay the estimated price of $900, even though all the work was not complete. He said it took more time than he originally thought. I felt ripped off in a major way. Because I was unhappy, he made a big deal about giving me a free halogen light bulb. Guess it was my lucky day.
