It went well. Rich communicated every step of the process. We lucked out to get the permit approved right away for a re-deck. I love the deck! My property has a fence and backs up to a creek and common open space full of trees. Not having the railing helped keep the open feel.

Savidge Construction did a wonderful job on helping to finish our basement after original contractors became a disappointment. The owner is a pleasure to work with, is patient, listens to his clients' requests, is quick yet efficient. Answered all my questions in a very timely manner, helped with providing solutions to design/countertop issues that I couldn't easily resolve myself, arrived at work on time and worked full days until the job was done. I'm looking forward to working with them again in the future.

We started in mid- August but with all the rain we had and the borough dragging feet with permits, it was not completed until around Halloween. Not real happy about that, but you can't trust mother nature!!

The kitchen vinyl flooring was torn during installation. They did not disclose this information so we found it during the inspection of the completed work. Their excuse was that that flooring was cheap, but sadly it was the flooring that they recommended to us when we went to their house to pick it out. The shoe molding was not securely installed.
They were hired to help us stop water from leaking onto the bathroom floor, and it was in their opinion that the water was coming over the side of the tub onto the floor, which had ruined the floor. Because of this, we agreed to install a shower door to stop water from leaking over the side. After the work was completed, water continued to leak onto the side. Savidge tried to claim that they do not do plumbing work (even though their website said that they did......I still have a copy of the website page that stated that....so we hired a plumber for a second opinion. The plumber said that the shower door was not installed and caulked properly which allowed water to continue to leak onto the floor, thus damaging the new floor. The bathroom door that they installed does not close and they wouldn't even come back to fix that!
Savidge has never responded to our phone calls and emails about fixing these issues, and we have been trying to get them to honor their warranty since last August!!! We even tried to get the Better Business Bureau to help us resolve this matter so that we can keep it out of the court system, but they ingored them as well (as a note, they are not members of the BBB).
I do not recommend Savidge Construction. Their price was low, but so was the quality of their work

Whole process started in August, but between rain, and my township needing every permit under the sun, and scheduling of inspector job did not get started until late October. :-( However, deck is beautiful and I could not be happier. My neighbors are all jealous.
