He left a very professional brochure at my house which was sparked by interest because I was in need of that type of service and I had received several quotes previously.  I called him and the next day he came out to observe the work scope and sent me via email the cost to do the roof only.  While he was here for the initial visit I asked him to give me a differential to have the siding done as well.  I received an email with a quote for the roof along with a differential for the siding.  I felt his prices were very competitive.  I emailed him back and asked him for references and certificates of insurance.  He responded within one or two days with both.  I spoke to all of the current references in the surrounding area.  Upon intense questioning they could not say enough about him as to his product, service and work ethic.  With that I made the decision to hire Knoll Martin.  He did not want any money up front.  We set up a time to not only do the roof as originally thought by me but also the siding to include the extras that he did in which we didn't talk specifcally about.  When the work was complete he suggested I mail a check or pay by check.  I paid him right there.  The work was guaranteed for two years although the mold, lichen, and moss growth should be by the residual components of the chemicals last much longer than that and I believe it.  We have a lot of shrubbery all around the house and all of the shrubs were protected throughout the entire process.  I was impressed that he was on site doing the work with his assistant.  He did more than what we contracted for at no extra charge and without request.
