We used them in the past and they are fine for the run of the mill bathroom plumbing issues, but did not meet expectations on a larger job. Scheduling and finishing were difficult. The issue was not ultimately resolved. when issues starting reoccurring after a year and a half, we found out that they did not use the appropriate materials for the pipe location. We are looking at having to pull up the floor again.

It was good experience.

Mark was excellent. He came on time, spent time diagnosing the problem and when the problem was determined, he presented multiple options for us to resolve the issue. After we decided, the work was performed quickly and professionally. He took care to keep the path between our front door and the upstairs bathroom clean and cleaned up after the work was performed. The option we chose consisted of some work being done now and other work being completed at a later date. We will definitely call them back for the additional work or any other issues.

Work was done on time and expeditiously. These guys have done lots of plumbing jobs in our house, from installation of a new hot water heater to simple resolution of leaking faucets. Great to work with.

We appreciated the honesty on two different occasions saying they would not go in for the 5-10K repair right away and that there would be plenty of time to see if a problem was developing before spending that kind of money. It has been a month and the system seems to be working fine. They were honest, showed up on time, and took care of the problem.

I had an issue with them. I did a review on them on another site. I actually had to take them to court. It was an ugly experience. It was just awful. They came to my home, they lied to me. The owner was the most unprofessional person I've ever have to deal with. When I spoke to them and they said there would be no fee to come out because I live locally where they are. I ended up having different work done throughout the house. When I wrote a check to give to the guy, I didn't realize that they charged me an extra $100. I called them and spoke to the woman in the office and she was like, "That should have been changed, that was a mistake. We'll send you out a check for the difference." What I ended up getting was a new invoice where they just ended up changing all the charges that they originally charged me to make up the difference of that extra $100. I called them again and the woman was just really obnoxious and unprofessional. It was just unreal, I could not believe how unprofessional she was. I went to Small Claims Curt in my community and I won and then she refused to pay. She was literally mailing me $5 check at a time and in each check, she would call me a different name. So I went back to the courthouse and I showed them what she was doing and I filed something else against her and she had to pay me more plus work cost so then she would pay me one lump sum.

I have used my favorite plumber many times for many plumbing issues as they are responsive, timely, professional an accommodating. This lookied like an easy fix as my drain from my shower was leaking through the ceiling in my garage. He had to not only expose the leaking drain, but after that, had to do some carpentry work to open up the area to get in and remove the leaking section of drain pipe and replace it. It was consuming and labor intensive but was accomplished without hitch.

We called on a Saturday and they sent someone out within an hour. He had to cut multiple holes in our ceiling in order to find the source of the problem, but he did find the source and fixed it right away. He was very professional and respectful of our house. He brought his own cleaning tools and cleaned up before he left. We paid a little extra for the overtime because it was a Saturday, but it was worth it to get the problem fixed so quickly.

I did not have hot water and found water heater leaking in basement. The unit was 11 years old. i called My Favorite Plumber since I used them in the past. There was a major storm in the area that day and I was worried no one would come out to the house to fix it or they could not get the parts they needed (a lot of businesses were closed). They arrived within 2 hours and installed a new water heater after inspecting it. They also replaced the expansion tank and pressure release valve (I had noticed an issue that i did not address until the WH broke) and installed a water alarm. They were nice and professional over the phone and at the house. They treated me and my house with respect. Jose even mopped up the water in the basement (a whole tankful) while he was waiting for parts to cure. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Issue was expense .. They told us there was a $100 call charge after the work was done. Think when we called them on the phone they should have disclosed this

I noticed a leaking pipe in my basement that was dripping onto book case on August 17, the day before I was to take a trip. My son called My Favorite Plumber on the 18th, and Joe came out on August 23. Sherie from the office called to confirm the appointment in the 2 hour window. She called me again to let me know Joe was on his way to my home. Joe was very nice, and made a point to lay tarps so he would not get my floors dirty as he walked to the basement. He diagnosed the problem and told me what he was going to do to resolve it, and showed me the new valve. He explained that he was going to turn the water off to the house, but would wait to do so if I needed to use the water for some reason. I told him to go ahead and turn it off. He asked me to open the faucets so they could drain. I did so in my kids room, and he did the other faucets that weren't in bedrooms. I asked him to tell me how to turn off the water to the house just for future reference, which he did. He brought in rags to collect residual water that had to drain. While waiting for the water to drain before he could begin work, he explained to me about my outdoor spickets. He told me one was frost free, but one was not. He told me that I should disconnect the hose from the spicket after each use. He also explained about the city water versus well water. He explained all these things because I told him I had just moved from Maryland, where I had a well. Very informative. When the excess water finally drained, he replaced the valve and welded. After he completed the work, he cleaned up, and told me that he put my soaking towel outside to dry, which was nice of him to do. He stayed while he turned on the faucet in the laundry room to make sure the air was let out. He also checked the other faucets. Joe was very infomative, polite, and exolained everything he was going to do. I will definately call him agina when I have a problem, and when I want to replace my bathroom faucets.

This is not the first time we have used this company. They are a family based business. They respond promptly, are always courteous and let you know up front just what the problem is and an approximate cost. If they are running late, they actually call and let you know! We have never had the problem reoccur once it had been fixed. Definitely on our "A" list regarding consumer satisfaction!
