+ -1 moreI can't stress enough how comfortable I felt while IN LoweRiders and after leaving. I felt that my needs were taken seriously, that the staff was very competent and that they really WANTED to take care of me. I also felt completely welcome to come back at any time and I would expect the same friendly, prompt and wonderful service again. I got my bike home and took it for a little ride. AHHHHH, it worked great. No noise, smooth gear changes and the new seat height that Bob set for me felt much better! Thank you Andy and Bob for taking care of me - even though I'm a complete novice!
Description of Work: I had received a bike as a gift for casual neighborhood riding. I am not competitive and haven't even been on a bike in years. The one that was purchased for me needed some tuning as it didn't change gears smoothly. I asked around and several people pointed me to Andy's shop because I am not a pro and some of the other shops in the areas don't offer the best service to the casual bike owner. I loaded my bike into my SUV and took it to LoweRiders. I walked in and Bob immediately greeted me and let me explain my situation. He came out to my car and unloaded the bike for me and since it was a minor issue he fixed it on the spot. Before he started working on it he introduced me to Andy, the owner. Both men made me feel very comfortable and not the least bit awkward because of my lack of experience. Neither of them made me feel that my bike "wasn't good enough" or that my casual goals were in any way unusual. My bike was fixed in less than 10 minutes and I will go to back to LoweRiders again when I need anything else to do with a bike!
