Great! I have worked with Joe King several times for repairs of my original HVAC and when the time came that we saw the writing on the wall for my HVAC system, Joe helped to lay out a plan to replace the system at the optimum time to give me the best bang for my buck. Joe is extremely responsive with his communications. Joe and his crew arrived on time and got to work immediately. Clean (drop cloths and shoe booties) and thorough, the install went like clockwork and actually finished earlier than expected! The attention to detail on the install is terrific (much better than the original install) and Joe walked me through all the necessary functions and features of the system. Would definitely recommend King Heating and AC!

Joe King has serviced my furnaces and AC units in our home and in a rental property. Most recently, he replaced our water heater. Excellent communication, great work, reasonable price. Very happy to have someone so dependable for HVAC.

Joe was very responsive and fit me into his busy schedule (Christmas timeframe). He even charged me 1/2 price on a service another serviceman quoted me in a previous service call. That company gave me a two week wait time while King showed up the next day.

Joe is awesome. We recently bought a new house and the oil furnace and AC were 20 years old. We got 7 estimates, ranging from companies that advertise on KYW and the back of SEPTA buses to smaller one man shops. We ended up selecting King HVAC and I'm really glad that we did. He offered us a modulating furnace and A/C for the same price as what another big player offered (they were selling a 2 stage system). His warranty was also beyond the standard 10/1, it was 13 years parts, 3 years labor. He sells Bryant, which is the same thing as Carrier. Wifi thermostat, he's running new gas lines for us, the whole thing. He's very professional and carried a book with him that included photos of his install. He pointed out where he would put the condensation sensors, how he would route the lineset, the whole thing.. which impressed me. He's also very accessible over the phone and pretty responsive over e-mail. Joe and his Dad spent a day and a half installing the system and were just awesome. Finally, two or three years later, we had a problem after a thunderstorm where the AC wouldn't run. I called him and he was able to swing by with only a few hours notice on a Sunday. He found that one of the circuit breakers was reset or maybe bad. He just flipped it back on and stuck around for a few minutes to make sure it was all good. Best part? No charge and he was here for probably a half hour on a Sunday. You can see the difference between a small operation like Joe and a larger place that advertises everywhere. The real value is in supporting a small business and you're rewarded with great customer service compared to the big, nameless companies.

After being told by Horizon (zero stars) that both my furnaces needed major repairs, or preferably replacement, it was a pleasure meet Mr. King and have him do an annual checkup/service on my heating system. He pointed out some things that needed attention, some of which he was happy to let me handle myself. He said that, with some care, I should have no problem getting good service out of the system for a few more years. I signed up for the premium service plan to be sure we're always covered in urgent situations.

On the initial service call they told me it would take 3 or 4 hours to replace and it would cost $1000 plus the part. Well it took them 1-1/2 hours and they still charged me $1000! Seems more than excessive to me. They are obviously out to rip people off. My other heater developed a similar problem and it cost $195, parts and labor. If that isn't ripping people off I don't know what is. Stay away from these people.

I tried calling 3 times. I spoke to someone 1x and he said he would call back, but never heard from him again. I tried calling two other times and no response.

They were the most reasonable, the most reliable. Joe King is the owner I think he's awesome. He's so responsive. We use them twice a year to do the service on our stuff.

Terrific. Great quality work - VERY responsive in fitting me into calendar and handling follow up repair. The deal was great and follow up work very fairly priced.

Amazing service. Ac broke when it was 95 degrees. Joe came out within an hour of calling, provided a fair price and fixed everything as soon as the part arrived.

After losing my favorite HVAC service provider, I figured I'd not ever find someone I trusted again.  King provided the most thorough preventive maintenance I've had done on my system.  He is professional, friendly and does great work.  I've found a new provider that I can count on!

It didn't go well. They're supposed to provide the coupon number. He was supposed to provide them. The guy took a check from me for the same amount. It was double paid and he didn't tell me anything. Angie's List paid me back so it was fine. They're good with their work though.
