Home Depot - Downingtown

They charged my credit card without my permission and then delivered items to an address that I no longer live at. I had to cancel my card. I called customer service, but no one has called me back to rectify the issue. Literally the worst! I'll just go to Lowes next time. I will NEVER trust them with my personal info again.

I went to Home Depor thinking they were a reputable business I could trust. Unfortunately I walked in with high hopes, everything was great....I ordered my door and framing and scheduled a day for them to fit my door. Paid for it in full. Unfortunately everything went south after the fitting. They measured my door wrong...which I coulda accepted if they were up front about it when the guy installing my door would of said something and covered the gap between my house and my door. But he didn't When I called to complain that my house (not siding, but the actual underpayment was exposed and it was going to rain, they totally disregarded me. It took me having a freakiest before they did anything. Long story short...very bad experience and unprofessional people...I won't do business with them again on any substantial projects.

This was like an old Clint Eastwood movie; The Good the Bad and the Ugly. The good was the initial process working with Home Depot designer and the overall construction quality is good. Good not great and for the money spent it should have been better. The other good was Home Depot standing behind products that we're not acceptable i.e. defective refrigerator and improperly made cabinet doors. The bad is an overall lack of follow up, with the seriousness of our problems HD should have been calling and visiting our home. In fact no one has done a punch list or final sign off. The ugly is the sub contractor USIG who I rate as incompetent and told the project manager not to call me anymore and I would no longer call him but rather I would go through corporate as his broken promises were simply a waste of my time. This process which was estimated to finish in early to mid August lasted until October. Contractors complained to us routinely about lack of follow up and even payment for services. We went 4 weeks without a range and 7 weeks without a sink! I could go on and on. I will add in fairness that the kitchen functions well and workmanship is is good but not a value for money spent. I will NOT use HD for any other services.

I couldn't be happier with my new kitchen. Everyone I dealt with at Home Depot was professional and helpful. The sales rep worked with me and my budget to design a great new style / update to my 1980s kitchen. The materials came in earlier than expected and the install was complete in only 3 days! Each person treated me and my home with respect. I did have a few small issues that popped up (to be expected with any large project) and Home Depot immediately fixed the issues with no hesitation and complaints, going above and beyond to make me happy. The products are of good quality and I would recommend Home Depot to anyone who is thinking of updating their kitchen.

The guy from Home Depot and ndash; Downingtown was extremely professional. He removed the old water heater. He left no mess. He did everything that I asked. He was very quick and efficient. He was in and out within a couple of hours. I was really pleased that I highly recommend them.

They did a great job for me. They did everything right as far as the counter tops went. They were very gentlemanly and professional. I had a back wall that had a bubble of about a quarter of an inch that they made it so you couldn't tell there was a problem. The guys were quick and very helpful in everything they did. It was a pleasure having them work for me.

Overall, this was a great experience. I am considering making an additional carpet purchase and would use Home Depot's services.

They were great. When I had a question, the foreman came right over to discuss it with me. The workers were punctual and cleaned up after themselves. We had absolutely no problem.

The Home Depot was on time and they were on budget. They put up our gutters and we had them put gutter guards as well. We haven't had to get up there and do any of the cleaning. They didnt damage anything in my yard or on my home. They were clean and they were very punctual.

The delivery people threw the trash from our appliance all over the neighborhood. They strew the trash for about one mile. Home Depot did not answer my e-mail, or calls of complaint. The delivery people are sub-contractors of Home Depot, and I get the sense that Home Depot doesn't have a clue to who they are hiring to come into your home. Be very careful about the people they contract with-who knows if they can be trusted.

PURCHASED NEW STORM DOOR AND HAD IT INSTALLED. VERY FAST SERVICE WITH QUALITY WORK.
