Our door's spring snapped in half on 12/31/2015, a Thursday.  Larry was out to fix the door first thing on 1/2/2016, a Saturday.  His price was lower compared to some others and he was the only one available to do the work on that Saturday.  Everyone else could not come until Monday.  
He took the time to review what went wrong, identified a crack in the door and how to fix it (additional $90, which we did).  He oiled and adjusted garage door chain at no extra charge.  Terrific job all the way around.

Spoke to Larry in the morning and he was there same day by afternoon to fix the broken extension spring of our one car garage door.

The townhome that we purchased had an aging garage door opener that was functioning poorly. We called Larry and he came to the house a few hours later. He examined the opener and gave us prices for repairing or replacing. Due to the age of the equipment and lack of availability of some of the parts, we chose to replace. Larry did the work the same day and made sure that we knew how to operate the equipment. We were satisfied with the work and would use Larry's services again.

Larry responded next day to my call regarding inoperative garage door opener. He examined the unit and found worn chain gears, then offered replacement of gears vs installation of new opener with costs, advantages and disadvantages of each option. I selected replacement and some additional work replacing pulleys on adjacent door. He obtained the new opener unit and returned to install at my convenience. All work was performed expertly, on time, and at quoted cost. Larry was punctual each appointment, worked efficiently and cleanly, and ensured I understood the operation of the unit after installation. Definitely call Larry Christman for you construction and door needs.

It went very well. He showed up on time, worked quickly and, as far as I can tell, did a nice job. I had called about one broken cable. He thought to inspect the rest of the cables - which were in pretty bad shape. So, he replaced the lot of them.

Neighbor referred Larry to me and I called him and explained some of the issues I was having with my garage door. I received a call back the same day and I scheduled a time for him to come over and give me estimates to either repair or replace garage door. So he arrived on time and was very friendly and knowledgeable. My son and I first decided to replace door, but called him back to repair instead. He gave an estimate on the phone and it was very reasonable. The day he showed up my son was there to oversee the job. He explained some safety and installation issues that a previous contractor had overlooked when he installed my garage door opener. He did an excellent job bringing a 20+ year old door back to life and sealing correctly. He also reduced the noise that the old door used to make. Overall I was more than happy with his workmanship and knowledge and would recommend him to anyone I know.
