"Glad to hear you had a great experience with Bob Wagner's Flooring. We hope you will consider us for your future flooring needs."
The store needs better management .
Sale staff made too many promised that could not be kept consequently delivered was delayed and lot of misunderstanding ensued
For example .
The delivery never came because the truck broke down Store manager didn't know that fact.
We got home delivered the next morning
We were promised we could return unopened boxes of tiles
Saleperson does not remember saying that ( how convenient)
We cannot return the unopened boxes .
The saleperson claimed it is not her policy but the manufacture.
Saleperson didn't return phone calls
"[member name removed] - I'm sorry that your experience with Bob Wagner's did not meet your expectations. I will be forwarding your comments to the store manager."
-During installation, the crew's nails punctured a gas line in the home. The gas leak was so severe that they could not do a pressure test until after it was fixed. I am thankful to still have my home and my electrician as the electrician noticed a gas leak when he cam to install fixtures.
- The floors are nice, but the overall experience was unpleasant and they still feel unfinished even after $16,000 and a gas leak.
"Thank you for this feedback on your experience with our company. We will review our pricing policies to see where we can find ways to save our customers money."
"Thank you so much for the positive feedback. We're glad that you're happy with your new hard wood floor and hope that you enjoy it for years to come. Let us know if we can help you with any thing else."
"Dear [member name removed], If you are still in the market for flooring (or will be in the future) we would love to quote you a fair and competitive price. We really appreciate when our customers and potential customers give us their feedback and I'd be happy to offer a 15% discount as a token of that appreciation. My name is Josh Wagner. My father was Bob Wagner. If you decide to give us another shot, please let me know and I'll put you in good hands and see that this discount is accepted. You are more than welcome to contact me directly with any questions or concerns. Again, I appreciate your feedback and apologize for taking so long to respond (sad to say, we are just now getting current with our online review sites). Best, Josh Wagner"
In 2007, Bob Wagner Flooring installed carpet in 4 BRs and a family room in our newly constructed home. We had upgraded the carpet as well as the padding. Two years later, we saw that the carpet was "bunching up" in every room and needed to be restretched. Note that we do not have young children or pets nor do we move furniture around.
In 2010, we called Bob Wagner Flooring and after sending someone out to look at the issue they said they would do the job for $200. This surprised us because they have a Lifetime Installation Guarantee. But we did not argue (at that time) and paid the $200 to have the carpet restretched. Note that furniture was not moved.
Now in 2012 the carpet has the same problems and more "bunching up". We called Customer Service and were told that carpets are now made with a fiber called jute which causes the need to restretch. Again, someone came out to look at the carpet and said the only way to solve the problem was to remove all the furniture in each room and then restretch. Note that the first time they were out to restretch in 2010, no furniture had been moved. I felt that Bob Wagner Flooring should make good on its product and installation and restretch the carpet free of charge. Instead, we were once again quoted a "discounted" price of $200 but were told that it is normally a $400 - $500 job. When I asked about the Lifetime Installation Guarantee, I was told it was a carpet issue not an installation issue.
I thought that asking us to pay again is highly unfair and not a good business practice. In essence they are asking us to pay three times for one job. They should have got it right the first time around. I will still need to have my carpet restretched but NOT at Bob Wagner Flooring.
Customer Service is very slow to return a call and I can not wait any longer for someone at Bob Wagner Flooring to put the customer first. I cannot recommend Bob Wagner Flooring since, in our case, they do not stand behind their product or installation. I suggest that when buying a carpet, ask about restretching charges.
We have used Bob Wagner's in the past for the Master bedroom, family room and basement stairs and each time we felt we good price and excellent installation. When they did the master bedroom, the installers even offered to tighten the carpet in the hallway (at no cost).
