They would not do follow up care for my daughter and SIL's dog unless they paid additional unnecessary fees. Also the front desk staff was extremely rude to my son-in-law over the phone on January 2, 2016.

They work on all our pets. This service was a first visit and vaccination for our new cat. They are a great vet, however, veterinary services seem to be the latest thing that is skyrocketing in price.

Overall it went well.

I have been using them since they opened the practice, back in 1979 or 1980. They were very thorough. They take time with my pet. I am on my sixth foxy dog. They were very good with them. As we all know prices were not reasonable these days but I suppose they were reasonable. Our relationships are on a first name basis no after all these years. I used another veterinary for a little while, the last place I had been, when I was still married. I took my male foxy that I had to remove a lump from his flank and they wanted to pull him out of spade before even taking the dog. It did not make sense to cut my dog. That's when I went back to Shiloh Veterinary Hospital. I told them about it and they said no, that they would not do that.

I think that their prices may be a little high but I think they did a good job. I told them that if they lowered there prices then maybe more people would be able to take their animals to the vet.

For the quality of care we were getting, they are very reasonably priced. We see three different veterinarians, but prefer to see the head-veterinarian because he is knowledgeable about cats. My cats feel very comfortable their and the staff are always wonderful and compassionate. I have also recommended them to people and would not hesitate to use them again.

At Shilo Vets it is just amazing how much they care for your pets.
They will sit with you and go over every detail of your pets needs, your pets health, just everything.
I have been to health care providers that have not even taken the time to discuss health issues
like Shilo Vets do.
I highly recomend people to take their pets here, They now have a office in the Emigsville area.
I have not ben there because the Shilo office is closer to my home.
But my opinion and experience, it should not matter which office you use because the staff is
so caring about your pets, you can feel at ease if you must leave your pet with them.
Because you leave with the feeling of knowing they are in great hands.

We always have a good experience there, they are very thorough. They are not cheap but not over priced badly.
