Extremely disappointed. 1. Poor drywall job. 2. Toilet leaked. 3. Hole put in dining room ceiling below bathroom due to careless use of Sawzall. 4. Caulk in tub Dissolved during 1st use despite days of drying time. 5. Another leak from problem with tub overflow installation (damaged ceiling in room below). 6. THREE areas under shower door not caulked resulting in large leaks again damaging ceiling below. 7. After 2 weeks of use, the shower head arm that protrudes from the wall is very loose. Resolutions. 1. I spent 6 hours reworking areas of the drywall to make acceptable. (Full disclosure: I did not mention this to builder since I felt this was basically a poor workmanship issue and if they didn't recognize it in the first place, the redo wouldn't have been much better) 2. A phone call to Kevin resulted in him telling me to tighten it myself and if it still leaked he'd send someone over tomorrow.. 3. Pointing this out to contractor resulted in a quick spackle of the hole. Sanded lightly later. It still needs a second coat of spackle, more sanding, and repainting. 4. Contractor removed old caulk and recaulked with better caulk to my satisfaction. 5. Contractor returned and repaired leak. No repairs were offered for damaged ceiling. 6. I told contractor about this problem and he offered to send someone to fix caulk under shower door. I told him I had lost confidence in his plumber and would do it myself. I removed all caulk and recaulked the door. It's been dry since. 6. Not sure what to do about this problem since the correction will require ripping a large hole in the newly finished and painted wall. I did not tell the contractor about this issue yet.
