Betts Contracting

I obtained quotes from three local contractors to replace my 25 year old 3-tab roof shingles with new GAF architectural shingles, replace my leaking rain gutters with new seamless gutters and install new vinyl soffits on my modest 3-brm home. The two lowest priced quotes were very similar in price and materials but the deciding factor for me was that Betts Contracting was around the corner in Dover, Pa. and the owner, Chad, took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. Having a cousin owning his own roofing business (in another State), I knew enough to tell that Chad not only knew his business but took great pride in his work. 
We were not disappointed! Chad exceeded all our expectations and we couldn't be happier! What a difference a new roof makes, the house looks great!! Chad and his assistant worked on the house approx. four days, working around some minor weather issues. Chad set up for the job and scheduled the delivery of material with military precision. I could tell he had this down to a fine science. I also noticed how they cleaned up and organized their tools & material at the end of each day. It was a good sign that confirmed he took pride in his work and knew what he was doing!
Chad also went above and beyond by moving our patio furniture and gazebo on the deck in order to replace the gutter, removing the old DIRECTV dishes on the roof, replacing a bad section of plywood near my chimney, etc. Afterwards, they cleaned up and put everything back where it was. It's been a week now and both my wife and I still comment on the great job they did, every time we look at the house. It was definitely money well spent. We highly recommend Betts Contracting!!!
