Brian and his wife were awesome. Responded quickly and were able to get here quickly before the old hot water heater completely went, which would have meant a huge mess of water in the basement! We have also used them in the past for service to our air conditioning unit and had them install a whole house humidifier...always happy with them! Highly recommend them!

Overall A+++.
As I said, I've been using Brian for 12 years. This deck project was no small under taking. Over 1000s/f. I notified Amity Heating by phone that I would like a consultation for a large deck project. This went to voicemail, but was returned within 24 hrs. Usually he will answer the phone even when he is on a job site, so his customers don't have to wait. He scheduled a date for the consultation. We discussed running gas lines to two decks. One line larger than the other to accommodate future uses such as gas heaters and a possible gas kitchen. He pointed out the builders incorrect use of piping to an existing deck and offered to fix that as well. (I agreed). The date came and he was ontime, as usual. The project took 3-days to complete. It may have only taken two, but a part was not available when the project began so he scheduled a third day to install the final part. When it came time for the Township Code Inspector to review the work he said he didn't expect any issues, but if any were found, to notify him right away and he'd take care of it. The Code Inspection was happy with the work and was familiar with Brian and Amity Heating. When I asked the Code Inspector what he thought of Brian and Amity Heating, he said that he had never had any problems with any of Brian's work. At my request, Brian also recommended an Electrician and Plumber for the project. I used both and they have the same high standards as Brian. (Selly's Plumbing of Boyertown, (610) 367-1551 and R J Electric of Barto, (610) 754-0045. )
Brian is always polite, courtious and always puts "booties" over his shoes when he walks through the house to prevent tracking dirt throughout the house. Brian always has his customers best interest in mind. Whenever we've had to replace a major peice of equipment, I've asked him his opinion on specific brands, models or types. He has always answered with what I believe to be a fair answer best on my own research into the equipment replacement. I believe his pricing is fair. Not cheap, but not expensive either. His service and his desire to keep his customers happy are priceless. He takes pride in his work and really cares about his customers. I will continue to use Brian and Amity Heating and I will continue to recommend him to anyone in need of his services.

Called for an estimate and diagnosis of air conditioning problem (no cool air). Brian answered the call, no voicemail, asked a few questions and said that he could come to the house the next day. He arrived promptly the next morning, diagnosed the problem and provided an estimate. The diagnosis was thorough, he didn't stop at the first problem he found. The air conditioner needed a new evaporator coils set and a condenser power relay.
The evaporator coils set wasn't available locally, so it was going to be several days before he could come back to complete the repair. However, this was the Friday before Memorial Day weekend and the temperatures were projected to be in the high 80's - low 90's with high humidity. The part was a couple hour drive away. Brian said that if he had the part that he would come the next day, Saturday to complete the install. We said that we'd be happy to go pick it up, so Brian arranged with the supplier to allow us to drive out, pick it up with it being on his account. We had the part that afternoon. Brian arrived promptly Saturday morning, completed the job and the house was cool before it hit the high temperatures for the day. His bill exactly matched his estimate.
Brian is professional with a great sense of humor. He was careful to lock up the basement doors when he left and clearly explained what he did and why he did it in terms that we could easily understand. Our questions were answered fully and to our satisfaction.
We'd recommend that Brian let his customers know that he only accepts checks at the time he provides his estimate.
We would absolutely use him again and in fact are going to call him about our water heater.

They were extremely professional. They were prompt in returning my call and prompt to schedule an appointment. In fact, they came the very next day. They were very, very nice people. I have nothing bad to say about them. The overall experience was excellent. The quality of work was excellent. I would use this company again in the future.

This provider was recommended to me by my propane supplier. During the initial few contacts, the provider was friendly but didn't get back to me when he said he would and I kept having to call and remind him of our previous discussion (approximately three times). When we finally settled on a product and date, the provider was on time and kept to the price quoted. The service was performed without any issue and the heater has been working fine during the six weeks since installation.
