The provider was referred to us by a contractor who did excellent work for us. We called the tel number twice and no one returned the call.
I called the contractor to reconfirm the tel number at which point he called himself to ensure that provider would call us - and he did a few minutes later . We scheduled the initial assessment of the landscaping services on a Sunday based upon his availability. He never showed up nor called. I called him several times to find out if I made a mistake on the date and he mentioned he was so busy he did not have a chance to call me.
We rescheduled and met on the following Sunday and met him along with his wife. They both seemed genuine in providing me with the service and schedule that would work. The provider started promptly on the following weekend and I saw results for the next weekend as well. After this it all went down hill. Since we were nearing the Thanksgiving holiday, we met once again to confirm what had not been done and I paid in full for the rest of the service to show good faith. He was to call me as soon as it was completed and have never had back from him. I left his answering machine and cell phone about 20 messages which have never been returned.
At some point the contractor and I met to go over other home repairs that I needed and he asked about this and I gave him the low down. Needless to say, he was p***** and called the provider right and then. The contractor offered to finish the work to which I replied no since the provider should finish since he did not render all services.
The completion is most important since there is a very large tree towards the back of my property which contains some very long branches that overhang onto a small road where my neighbor's small daughters ride their bicycles. North Jersey Heating & Cooling was very good. I would have to say they deserve an A for everything. They did what they were supposed to do.
