Hello,             Lake Adventure contracted Blue Ridge to remove a tree that had fallen from my neighbors property, and was in danger of landing on my trailer               I want to thank you for quick response, and even more so, I want to complement the 2 gentlemen who performed the task at hand.             It was Jayson and his partner ( I forgot the 2nd guys name )  They were prompt, and professional, they did a fantastic job, working safely, and they did a terrific clean up afterwards.                Please take a moment to thank them for me for a job well done. We highly recommend the services of Blue Ridge Tree Service. We called upon them to assess the trees at our weekend property at Tanglwood North in Tafton. The trees had not been pruned in the twelve years since our home was built. My husband did a walk-around of the property with Dan. He identified several trees which were damaged, dead or hollow. Some of them were threatening our home, power lines and septic field. They needed to go. Snow and high winds postponed the job a couple of times, but the office was very good at calling us at our home in New Jersey to keep us up-to-date. We were very pleasantly surprised once we made it back up. Our property is now so much neater, sunnier and more open. Best of all, we have peace of mind knowing that the remaining trees are healthy and will continue to be havens for the birds and other critters who live on our property. We learned that Blue Ridge Tree Service can also provide various types of logs for construction or decorative projects, and can arrange for artful chainsaw carvings as well. Dan assessed the best strategy and quoted a reasonable price. His top notch crew arrived promptly with bucket truck and woodchipper. The bucket operator deftly stripped and lowered all branches from the huge diseased tree, and secured a rope near the top of the trunk. Then two crew members on the ground pulled on the rope from 100 feet in a pre-planned location, as Dan cut the trunk at the base. The tree trunk was dropped precisely with no damage whatsoever to other trees. The guys chipped all fallen branches and cleaned up completely. Superb job!

Our property had too many tree, both native and non-indigenous species, that were competing for resourcesand had become vulnerable to diseases such as fungus, etc..  We consulted with a few different tree services,including Blue Ridge Tree Service, about our problem.  Of all the services we contacted the guys from Blue Ridge ,Dan and Lenny,spent the most time analyzing our situation and giving their advice on how we may want to proceed.  They also answered all of our questions and concerns. Their advice on which trees to remove and/or prune not only focused on the health of all the trees but  what the final appearance of the property would look like.  Their advice helped us maintain the wonderful balanced appearance of our property.  They also told us how to fertilize, etc. in order to improve and maintain the health of all our trees.  And they did a thorough job of removing the cut wood and cleaning up wood chips and sawdust before leaving.  Their price was very reasonable and they arefantastic guys to work with.  As time goes on we realize we will need more pruning and tree removal and we know we can count on Blue Ridge to do a great job.
