Wilmer K Gehris Painting

It went excellent! I highly recommended him! He did high quality work, the price was good, and he is very professional.

After we evaulated our estimates from other contractors, we selected Wilmer and set the date but unfortunatly we had to delay the start date by one day about a week before the planned start date. Will was very easy to work with and he accepted our delay with grace and professionalism. I wanted to supply the paint and that was no issue with Will.
Once started, Will was always on time and worked with purpose and skill. There was nothing much to clean up after he was done and I have still not found any spills or spatter of paint on the carpet or anywhere else for that matter. The job was fixed price but he still finished in the time frame we expected as we were taking a vacation and wanted this job done prior to our departure.
In short he does what he says he will do and is very skilled at painting and finishing as we had a number of holes in the walls from hanging photos and artwork. I will abosluterly use him, if he is available, on my next painting project and recomend him to others without reservation.
If you have a reasonable timeframe in your project he will deliver the results you expect at a very competitive price. If you want a and quot;slap it on the wall paint joband quot;, he is not your man. I trust him and recomend him. I do not give out these types of recomendations freely without feeling strongly about them.

I consider myself a good handyman with high expectations. I could not have done as well as Will did on this job and it would have taken much longer than the 9 days he used to get a lesser quality job. His estimate of paint was very close, leaving me a little for future touch-ups but not gallons extra. Wilmer is a painting professional in every sence of the word.
I found Will through Angies list and i have no other connection to him other than this one job.

Mr. Gehris came by the house and spoke with us at length about the job of painting our kitchen and then returned a month or so later to "refresh" the estimate when we had to delay the job. The Estimate was thorough and accurate and Mr Gehris was on time, considerate of our lives and did beautiful work over a two week period. We would highly recommend his services to anyone! Kim

He gives me a quote and the end price is the same. Arrives on time. Communicates throughout the project of discoveries or his opinion of how it is going. I have never been dissatisfied with other projects of painting and wallpaper in the past.

It went very, very well. He is a lovely man who was very professional and does not smoke. He gave us a very reasonable estimate. We made some changes to the original estimate and had him do some caulking around the windows and sinks and he did some other things. He was very reliable and very trustworthy. One morning we couldn't be here and we gave him a key. We have never given a key to anyone working on our house. He just exudes confidence. He cleaned up after himself and didn't leave any messes. If we found an area that needed touchup he would come back immediately. We would absolutely have this gentleman come back to our house.

I called Wilmer and discussed what I needed, He came by we looked over the mud room to be painted. Discussed the rate and agreed. He came on the day he said and the time he mentioned He removed the bad calking, sanding a couple areas. Then he pre-pared an area for his supplies to work from. He painted the ceiling. Then he re-calked, painted the walls and then in a timely manner painted all the wood work and 2 doors . Once he has finished, everything is cleaned up and back in it's place,

He estimated 3 calendar weeks of work time and finished on time and on budget. When an issue arose over the coverage of the wall we agreed on the time required for a second coat and purchased additional supplies. He is very professional and cleaned up the work area daily.

He is excellent. He has 43 years of experience in painting. He is very nice and he is an older gentle man in his 60’s. He knows his job and he is very good at it. He is very efficient and quick. This is the second time I used his services.
