They never called me. I found somebody else.

John responded promptly and he came out and gave me an estimate. I paid him for parts ordered and he called me a few months later to set up an appointment for the repair. He came out on the day specified and got the fireplace working. This was summer and we didn't turn it on until late October. When we turned it on, it filled the house with a natural gas smell. I called John and he told me he was busy but would come out in a week or two. We set up an appointment and he never showed. I tried to call him and he sent a text saying he was in the hospital. I was unable to contact him by phone ever since. He just texted saying can't talk now! This job cost me Nearly $1,000 and I still don't have a working fireplace! I sent him an email asking for an explanation, as we can all have trouble, but he never responded.

I placed an earlier review and stated I could not reach the company. This year I was contacted by the company owner who just left my home. He did a great job cleaning the fireplace and I explained what caused me to leave the other review. I would definitely recommend this company if you have gas logs or if you want to buy them and have them installed at a fair price. I hope to have him help with our gas logs for years to come.

Excellent job. John was very helpful in explaining what he was doing , very professional, and I expect to contact him for cleaning and inspecting the fireplaces next year.

Our fireplace had not been cleaned since it was installed and we were having issues with pilot staying lit. John came out along with another guy and cleaned everything. Has been working great since it was serviced. Definitely will be having John clean it on a yearly basis.

I bought the logs from John 2 yrs. ago and referred two of my neighbors to him, who also bought gas logs/heaters. Last year this very personable young man came to clean my fireplace logs, change batteries, and whatever was needed. This year I have called him, emailed him, and written him through this list with absolutely no response. I hate to say so, but I feel this is very poor service. If I didn't know better, I might come to the conclusion that now that he has made money from my sale and my neighbors' sales he is no longer interested in even acknowledging my existence. It seems I'm up the well-known creek without a paddle. I turned the fireplace on tonight, and because of the dust burning, my smoke alarm went off. Also, I was unable to turn it off with the remote. This would not have happened if John had come or even made an appointment to come to check it out. Even if he was ill, I feel someone should have replied to me.

I really like him. He did a nice job & is clearly a dedicated professional.  The only hiccup was that he ran out of black paint & had to come back to finish the job. He worked late to finish the job & my fireplace never looks better. I am very pleased. I plan to use him for my regular cleanings and maintenance.  I am also considering buying a grill from him after I have someone re-stain my deck.

For the first time since noon time of 1997, they are working. I had nothing working all those years and I had the other company out fast when years ago they did not fix them. I am pleased with him.

John cleaned and inspected our fireplace and gave us some upgrade options.  He will be our provider going forward.

John did a fantastic job!  He completely took the fireplace apart and removed the logs and cleaned and checked every single piece.  He cleaned the glass 4 times to make sure it was clean.  He checked all of the gas connections, along with the level of flame and speed of the fan.  He cleaned out the entire firebox and then repainted when the paint had been scratched away.  I can't believe the difference in the appearance of the flame - it is not crystal clear!  I recently purchased this home, so getting this fireplace cleaned was high on my list.  The fireplace was working, but I could tell the glass was really dirty, so it seemed that I was looking at the flames through a film.  Well ..... NO MORE!  It is fantastic!   He worked on the fireplace for over an hour, and I was very impressed with his work.  I will definitely be using him to maintain and service the fireplace every year.

John did a great job as a sales person and as an installer. He left us with a detailed brochure and two alternative recommended installations with different price points. No sales pressure, no irritating calls asking if we'd made up our minds yet. He was extremely flexible on installation dates, even offering to come on a Saturday or late on a weekday (since my wife and I don't get home until after 6PM most nights). He and his crew made sure that the area around the fireplace and hearth were covered and kept clean. He checked with me before taking out the old hardware, just in case. He was very thorough and made sure I knew how everything worked before he left, and that I knew I could call him if we had questions (we haven't -- these new units are REALLY easy to operate, compared to our old unit that was always a PITA even when it worked).
I though about dinging John on Punctuality for being late for the installation, but he called me as soon as he knew he would be late, and kept me in the loop on his expected arrival. He was delayed because his previous client took more time than expected and he wanted to do a good job, so how can I fault him for that? Certainly if I'd been scheduled first I'd have been irked if he tore off because he had someone else on the calendar. So he gets an A.

This young man and his assistant did a great job in restoring our fireplace. His cost was what we had anticipated for this service. We have arranged for yearly maintenance with him to keep our fireplace at peak performance.

Very good service by owner and associate. Owner seemed to be very knowledgable. They took care to maintain a clean work area wearing and quot;bootiesand quot; over shoes while in the house and using a floor covering near the fireplace.
