They damaged the wiring and float in the tank while trying to pump it.  I had tp have the pump deinstalled, rewired and the float replaced.  Then had the pump reinstalled by a different septic system  plumber.  It cost $ 440.25 to repair the damage done by Dillsburg Excavating and Septic.  They did not tell me they damaged the system.  They let me discover it on my own.

I had a septic alarm installed, needing new wiring as the original one with the house was not connecting.  I chose this company after finding them on my townships approved list and they did a good job pumping my septic, which I needed to do as I sold it.

Paul the main man on the job that day is an asset to their company.  Paul is friendly and talks you through the job. He did have a guy with him that seemed to be an apprentice.

The job included hooking up a septic alarm (my own I had on hand) that needed to be plugged into a wall socket and run wiring from the alarm to my septic.  (I had a new alarm on hand)

The job took just shy of two hours.  I provided my own alarm and they ran wire from my box in my garage to my septic hooking up the floater.  I gave them my credit card expecting $200 - $250, maybe $300 the most.  Total cost $573.25

You MUST get an estimate before having any work done.  I wish I did.  If you cannot get an estimate in writing, walk away.

I called the owner, who is very nice and he said ?when you take your car to the garage you don?t get an estimate??   I said <<< Yes you do and you get a call usually before the mechanic works on your car to tell you how much it?s going to cost. >>>

When I asked if he felt that was a lot he said, ?Yes it?s a lot, everything is going up.  Gas, insurance, EPA, groceries, etc.
The job was done and done right, it is what it is?.

I requested an itemized bill and did get one.

$114.00 in parts, $369.25 in labor and ......$90.00 for ?tool truck?.  That's $184.63 / hour labor on the job.

I check AL for most, if not all, service transactions and learned my lesson.  I did not check this company?s reviews earlier.  I was just too busy moving into a new home and trying to get one ready to sell.   Never, ever again.

A horrible experience. I was going to have them return when the lids were exposed, but I received major attitude from one of the managers and decided not to use them for pumping

Went well, took a few tries to get them on the phone, their office was having communication equipment issues.  Once things were scheduled they came as scheduled and did the job as  promised. Very satisfied with the work that they completed.
