REAMSTOWN EXCAVATING INC

This contractor damaged my curbing with one of their machines and LIED about it repeatedly. The work they performed was substandard at best. Parts of the ADA curbing and ramps were removed and reinstalled multiple times and still weren't correct. The curbing was installed on an inadequate bedding. The joints in the ramps grew weeds almost immediately. The screws in the anti-skid plates came loose.
After some searching and talking my way past their receptionist I was able to speak to the owner, who despite a general lack of interest in my problem, assured my that my damaged curb would be fixed. He LIED, blatantly. They never took responsibility for my curb damage.
In the end, the contractor that installed my curb (Mike Austill, highly recommended) was paid by the boro to PATCH my curbing. While the end result looks great, a patch is nowhere near the initial quality of the curb before Reamstown Excavating damaged it.
