Child Care - Center
Overall this place makes us very comfortable leaving our child there all day. They provide daily report cards to keep us informed on his feedings, diapers, etc. They let us know if they need us to bring anything (other than the daily food, etc.) the next day, such as additional clothing. The staff is always very friendly and seem to be genuinely happy to see our child every day.
The few things to complain about is the fact that the building seems to be hot. The daycare is on the second floor, and they have AC in each room, but the hallways do not and it can be very hot at all times of the year. Also, second floor with no elevator, so lugging your child up the stairs, along with their stuff, is a concern if you have mobility issues. While I realize that most, if not all daycare facilities do this, they charge you for weekdays that they are closed. So, we pay for federal holidays even though they are not even open to be able to provide a service. Paying for days we aren't there because we are away is one thing, but for days when the place is closed is another.
The price is fantastic at about $160 per week, and we have our child there for about 9 hours a day. Really, really affordable and worth every penny.
