Phil came out as scheduled to provide an estimate. After a week passed and no estimate, I messaged him through Facebook and received it within an hour. The price was fair. However, he did not provide the references and insurance as discussed during his visit, and there were some parts of the estimate for which we needed additional information. I emailed and left a voice message but received no response. After reading some other reviews about responsiveness, it may be just as well.

They never responded to our requests. Second year in a row. Why are they listed on Angie's List? Don't waste your time with Philz.

The only problem I have is the timing they have, I want them to come earlier in the day. I would like an earlier time but I can  not get it.

This company is simply AMAZING.  We called and left a message in the evening and Phil called right back and set up an appointment early the next morning to meet our scheduling.  He arrived in a collard shirt with logo and looked so professional. they have packages, but also a la carte to meet all of our needs.   So fast, professional, well dressed, pleasant.  We had an estimate on the spot and we gave the green light to proceed right then without a hesitation.   As the work was being done,  My husband went out to thank the crew and they asked how it looked and John replied " Really Good".  The crew replied " That is not good enough.  we want it to look perfect".  WOW  Even the invoicing was high tech and efficient.  Invoice sent electronically, then could pay thru the link to Intuit and then print paid receipt.  Super efficient and secure. We have three properties and feel we have struck gold with Philz.    We never had such a professional landscaper and we are thankful we have found you and look forward to a great relationship.  Thank you soooo much. USE THIS COMPANY and you will not be disappointed
