Job went very well. The whole job took 4 1/2 hours. It included removing the old oil. Cutting the old tank up into quarters and removing from the crawl space. The new tank is a Roth double wall tank. It has a 30 year $2 million dollar warrantee.

After having them remove an old underground oil tank I hired them to remove contaminated soil at the same location from the oil leaking. I was told it would cost $4,500 for a full truckload to be removed and that occasionally one load doesn't take care of it all there would be additional charges
   After setting up a date I called several days prior to confirm what time they would be there. At that time I was told the work had to be rescheduled because of something beyond their control. Not a big deal but wish they would have told me instead of me to calling to find out. I had plumbers, fence work, and driveway work scheduled around them. A new date was than set up. The workers showed up, removed a truck load, tested and said that the reading was still high and another load would have to be removed. A person from the office called and told me it would be an additional $3,000 for each truck load. It wound up being two more truck loads. Instead of being charged $6,000 I was charged $6,918 additional.
   In addition to the additional charges the trucks drove off the planks put down causing significant damage to the front lawn which the company refuses to acknowledge. Worse yet, in unloading the new topsoil the driver didn't communicate with his helper, backed up too far and caused $1,050 in damage to a service walk.
   The company and the owner in particular refuses to take any responsibility. There are a few other companies in this area that do this work. I will use them next time. I would never do business with this company or recommend them.

The two workers were great.  They told me what they were going to do before they did it and cleaned up flawlessly. 

We set up an estimate with the company and their punctuality began from that day.  They arrived 5 minutes early for our estimate.  Based on other estimates the pricing was lower than the average.  
We were provided with an overview of the benefits of the system and some quick details of the installation process.  We were informed that we would have to get a propane tank installed because that was what allowed the generator to run.  They took care of getting all of this set up for us as well.
When our installation date came, the technician showed up on time and got right to work.  We were kept aware of what was being done at different intervals throughout the day.  He was professional and courteous.  He made sure he explained some of the steps along the way, and spent at least a half hour at the end explaining to us how the system worked.  He was even able to mimic a power outage and show us how the system automatically went into effect, powering the house.  The installation was inspected and passed the review.
Honestly, I couldn't have imagined a project like this going as smoothly as it did.  This is one project I hope we never have to use, but if the power does go out, I know we will be just fine.

Mid range cost wise, Good communication, excellent worker, did the job in a very timely manner, cleaned up after himself, a really good looking job, very very pleased with him. Would hire him again.

The service call went really well. Superior tank showed up on time, answered every question thoroughly and were very helpful throughout the process. They were quoted to pump out the water from our oil tank (due to poor design of fill pipe inlet), but went above and beyond and made sure the water was also drained from the heater oil pump. They also confirmed the heater was working properly before leaving. The price was exactly as quoted and they were able to come out on the weekend even during this busy time of the year. They also provided advice on service/care for our older heating system and tank and when we should plan on needing to replace them.
