Staff is very friendly and helpful. They take extremely good care of my pets. Dr. Strobel is the best vet. He is very caring and loves working with animals. He is willing to take the time to explain all the options and what the procedure entails. Dr. Strobel will answer all your questions to your satisfaction.

I have been using this veterinary hospital for several years now. I can only comment on the services of Dr Sarakon as I have never used the other veterinarians at the hospital so that my rating applies only to her. The office staff has also been excellent. The owner of the hospital sets the service fees not this vet so be aware of that. Dr Sarakon is a very professional and caring veterinarian. She has been outstanding in every aspect of my contacts with her.

I would grade them A across the board or I wouldn't have trusted them again with my dog.

They work with you, as a pet owner, for the best care of your animal. They are honest about what should be done at that stage of life of the animal. Dr Strobel is just wonderful with the animals, he is just very compassionate. They were recommended to me by three. I was changing from the veterinarian practice that I had. I just started there in 2016. Three of my friends recommended Gardens and Dr Strobel. They said, "Be prepared, when he first meets you with the pet, he will totally ignore you and focus on the pet," and they were right because there was no, "Hi, how are you doing," He is going, "Oh this is a pretty dog." He was honest. My papillon, it was one of the upper teeth and papillons are very fine groomed and he was concerned that if they try to pull it, it might be a problem. So he said, "I'd rather you go down to the specialty clinic."

Their price was reasonable. They had treated my dog with love and care. They were able to pull my dog through from his difficult medical issues. I would use them again in the future.

We took our cat in. He just returned from a long time gone, which he does sometimes. He wasn't feeling well. They did some tests, looked him over and figured out he had worms. The staff is always very helpful. They get you in very soon. When you call, you don't have to wait very long for an appointment.

They have several providers in the practice and I have been going to Dr. Elliott. He has his own practice now. I have been going to him for at least 30 years. There is a doctor that is terrible but I don't have any experience with other doctors. I have been very pleased with their knowledge and the way they handled the dog and I think they are very conscientious. I have been pleased over the years with the quality of their veterinary care that my dogs have received. We used to have cattle before. The price is a little high and it is same everywhere else.

I think they are excellent, just that I have to drive a little further. I feel very comfortable. They are very competent, well staffed and nice facility. I actually got a recommendation ago from the breeder that I got my dogs from. We got the same dogs from the same breeder and we got the young one first and then we got the older one.

We spent $180 on that service. The staff there is very warm and friendly and you could tell that they really like the dogs. They interact very well with us. We had a stool sample to be sent over to a place for my dog to be kenneled and the kennel supposedly did not get it and it was no problem because they just faxed it again, so they are very pleasant when it comes time to interact with them. It is a newer facility and it is nice and clean and it is a nice pleasant area. It is like a wooded area around, so that the dogs can go to the bathroom and not to worry about it being next to cars. We would recommend them to others and we recommended them to neighbors who moved in here. We took a dog that we had to them that had lung cancer and they had a room where they took us to talk to us about it, so we did not have to be out in the open and that kind of thing.

We recently moved here and were referred to Garden Vet. by Welcome Wagon. I spoke to the vet. about having my dogs teeth cleaned and I also had him look at what I thought were tumors. He assured me they were just cysts and he aspirated one with his finger as we were chatting. He offered to remove them while our dog was under sedation during his tooth cleaning. He went on to say, it will be no big deal I'll just take them off while he is sedated. There were four small cysts, one on his muzzle, left thigh, right thigh and another near his eye. The primary reason I wanted to have them removed was sometimes they would bleed while I brushed him. They were not visible nor did they cause discomfort, so it easy to forget about them and during occasional brushings one might bleed. I dropped him off in the morning and signed a form for required blood work because he was a senior dog and the tech weighed him and took him back. I was to return at 6:00 to pick him up. I phoned at 11:00 to see how he did with the anesthetic. I was told he did fine to come at 6:00 p.m. When I picked him up I was given antibiotics and I was then informed he would have an E-collar cone.?????? I was so confused and shocked that no one contacted me to get my approval that this "simple" procedure would result in numerous stitches, antibiotics, and a cone. There was a huge lack of communication between the doctor, tech, receptionist, and me. Further more the bill was far more than I was prepared for. I asked to speak with the doctor. And at first he confused my black lab with another black lab that was in for the same procedure that morning. I asked how did we go from a simple procedure to a surgical procedure? He responded that he had to go deep and he was worried it could have been "mass" cells. At the same time he said " I don't think they are cancerous but I can send them in if you'd like." I said no, I dont have the money to pay for this let alone a pathology report. The office was extremely busy. The tech brought my dog out with his E-collar, which I have never used before. As she was walking toward me another tech called her back, said something about his leg. The tech responded in a hurried manner, he's fine. She handed him over and went to the next patient as if I was unimportant. She never asked if I had questions. I felt like I was part of an assembly line. I paid the 137.00, because they didnt accept amex, the doc. approved me being on the payment plan. I also said, had I known that this simple procedure was really going to be a surgery I would have planed it over a Sat. when my husband was home. I had sporting events that I had to take my boys to and here I had our precious senior dog who was a mess. Our family and plans to visit family in Michigan we always take our dog, but he was in no condition to travel. After a week passed, I called the office to speak with the office manager. I also asked the tech. to check my dogs records and see if the doc. noted that the cysts had mass cells. She said there was no indication that the cysts were mass cells. She put me through to the office manager. I kindly explained to her the communication that occurred prior to the surgery. It was supposed to be a simple procedure, no stitches, antibiotics, or E collar cone. I went on to say that had I know I would have scheduled it for a Sat. I didn't have a proper vehicle to transport him with this cone. Furthermore, how do you know that I have an extra 550.00 to pay for it. Her response was, in a very rude, abrupt voice, "We don't do surgeries on Saturday." "Well, what did you want the doc. to do, leave the gash open?" She went on to say, That is what we charge. I couldnt believe how she was speaking to me, the tone was unbelievably rude and curt. My response to her was I did not authorize the doctor to preform a surgery, a simple phone call from a tech to get my authorization would have been the professional thing to do. I told her she was rude and curt and the office was run like an assembly line, that I wasn't even given the opportunity to ask any questions on the e-collar, and that I'd pay for half of the bill. I ended up paying it in full, the issue wasnt as much about the money but more about human kindness, we treat each other. All the office manager had to say was, I am sorry about the mix up. Please let me talk to techs involved and the doctor and I'll get back with you. She never even so much as asked how Moose was doing. In fact no one called to check on him. Our former vet. Great Lakes Veterinarian in Michigan was far more professional and caring. Great Lakes preformed several services over the last 10 years. Microchip, neuter, teeth cleaning, hip x rays, annual shots. I have not had one miscommunication with them or an unprofessional exchange. The made everyone feel like their animal was important. They valued their customers. Dawn LeMirande

Staff has always been friendly and accommodating. We've been taking our cat to this practice for about 4 years. Routine cat physicals are great - they send you a reminder via email and so much is available online. Great for me, I'm only 24/7. Take into consideration my concerns-talk through and offer suggestions and optional actions. Facility has always been clean, and comfortable, for both me and my cat.

Great service, friendly staff and environment. They were able to schedule an appointment for my dog within 2 days of calling. The vet saw my "senior" dog on the floor instead of making the old guy get up on a metal table. She was able to explain different medications and how the recommended/required vaccinations in PA are different from the state we moved from. Great experience overall.

I spent about $25 on that service. I continue using them because the doctors are very forthcoming. They give my animal what he needs as far as medical treatment and they don’t push other things on me, so they are reasonable with their pet care.

DR. STROBEL DIDN'T GIVE UP ON OUR PET WHO COULD BARELY WALK. INSTEAD, HE PRESCRIBED A MEDICINE THAT HELPED HER AS PART OF OUR FAMILY. HE WAS VERY KIND AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING THAT MIGHT BE WRONG WITH HER. HIS OFFICE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND TREATED US VERY WELL. I APPRECIATE HIS SERVICES SO MUCH. I DRIVE 40 MINUTES TO SEE HIM.
