The first job went fine. He is very experienced, careful and a very hard worker. This year the job was a semi emergency and it took him three days to get back to me and in the mean time I ran into a crew working nearby and so asked them to do the work. Tim did get back to me but I didn't hear his whole message since my answering machine filled up. Tim works by himself and so may not always be able to get back to you immediately but he is still in business and does a great job. You do have to realize that the reason he can give you such good prices is that he does not remove the downed wood. You have to do that yourself although he will cut the pieces small enough for you to be able to lift them. Most people underestimate how much work it can be to remove a downed tree so think that through.

They are reasonably priced. They have excellent service, they are courteous, and they clean up after themselves really well.

This is the 3rd time I have used Mr McKivigans services. He only Climbs and cuts down the trees in sections...You get ride of the tree and branchs. Also to let you know Watching Tim cut down a tree is awe inspiring. He is an artist at what he does. I wouldn't trust anyone else cutting down the huge trees that were only about 8 feet away from my house and his price for his work blew away the other estimates. The lowest estimate for having trees cut down and hauled away was 2100.00. Tim cut them down for $550.00. I put an add in craigs list for free wood and people came and took the wood. Add another $200 for having the brachs hauled away and using Tims services and a little management saved me $1350.00. He arrived and sstarted when he said he would ...did exactly what I wanted.... and I will continue to use his services in the future .
