We wanted a metal door that had a good air seal between our garage and basement. We also wanted to re-use an existing combination door lock. Mr. Record ordered everything and installed everything flawlessly. The door has a magnetic seal that is just what we needed.
The door had a pre-drilled hole that did not exactly match the lock we wanted to use. Mr. Record fashioned a brass plate to cover the hole so the lock could be used. He charged us $10 for that. I couldn't believe we got so much value for so little money.
Mr. Record is a true craftsman. I admire his work.
We also wanted to replace a screen door. That went fine too. We got everything we asked for and the work was completed quickly.
One more thing i had forgotten. We have a heavy wooden antique front door that started to scrape the threshold and splinter a little. This actually was the first job he did for us.  He planed the bottom and put in a rubber sweep to keep a good seal. Now the door operates perfectly and i'm no longer worried about damaging it.
I would not hesitate to call him for any door-related work.

He replaced a set of concrete steps leading to my back door. The work involved removing the old steps, pouring a foundation block, builing a new set and weatherproofing surrounding wooden areas. Dan and his workers commenced work immediately after they had completed a roofing job for which I had also hired Dan. He was on the job promptly, consulted me when decisions needed to be made, and shopped around for the best deal possible on the railing. This saved me several hundred dollars on the project. The final product is of excellent quality.

They were very punctual and professional. Their quality of work was excellent and my overall experience with them was good. Their price was quite reasonable and I would definitely recommend them.
