I took one computer in first for it to be fixed and then I took my second computer in there to get fixed. They told me that I had a bad hard drive and when I talked to another computer specialist he said that I never needed to have a hard drive replaced, and it was just a compatibility issue with windows 7 and when some computer repair people don't know how to fix something they just say you need a new hard drive. They charged me for the new hard drive and a new operating system instead of using my reinstall disk so, that brought up the final price to the point of ridiculous. If they had used my re-install disk it wouldn't have been near as expensive. When I went to the store to pick it up the external drive I had also left with them 1 1/2 months ago, they said the hard drive I had was unstable and said that I needed to purchase a new external hard drive that would cost me more money. They were going to charge me more for another 500 Gig drive than what a 3 terabite drive was going to cost at Wal-Mart. Called them back and cancelled buying their hard drive and having them reinstall the infomation on the old external to it. Asked them how much they were going to charge me for the work they had done on the external and they said I would have to call their accountant to find out, I asked them to call me back and let me know and they did not. I went in and asked them to return the external to me now which they did and they didn't charge me for for it. When I got home there were no files on it anymore, which is how it was when I took it in. Their restoring the files apparently didn't work very well, glad I was not charged. I don't like the slow service, nor the fact they wouldn't use my re-install disk to re-insert windows. That made for a lot of missing files that had come with my original computer, and also made the price go up dramatically since I had to pay for windows 7 again. I do not trust them and will not go to them again.
Description of Work: They attempted to repair my computer and hard drive.
