We had some discussions about media as I wanted the file on an SD card rather than shipping a hard drive back and forth, and they agreed to give it a try. It worked very well. The film was in terrible condition, with the first 100 feet or so badly deteriorated with vinegarization, but they were able to get usable sound and images even from that part.
