COOL HOME IMPROVEMENTS INC

We were very happy with the work that was performed. The workers showed up on time and were professional. They took time to answer any questions that I had and cleaned up at the end of each day. Work was completed on time and for the quoted price. We had previously had work done in our bathroom by another contractor and he did a very poor job. The previous contractor did not level the tub and installed an incorrect surround. We hired Cool Home Improvements to correct the work that was done previously. They installed a new bathtub and surround, repaired the drywall that had been damaged and completed finishing touches (paint, shelving, towel racks). Overall they did a great job. We are thrilled to finally have a finished bathroom! We would definitely like to work with Cool Home Improvements again on some other projects that need completed in our house.

Someone else had used him and gave him a recommendation so I just went with him. I didn't find him to be nearly as great as this other lady did. His assistant is very helpful. You can get her anytime. However, the owner is not in the hands on part anymore. He's more on selling while he has maybe 2 or 3 crews doing the actual work. There were mistakes made that were not fixed. They didn't install some of the tiles correctly. The trim tile was absolutely done incorrectly. I thought the 2 men worked well together. They worked under some horrendous conditions during that entire week they were here. It was over 90 degrees and in the bathroom, there was no air conditioning. It was brutal for them to have to work in those conditions so that part was really tough. The color of the floor tile came out a different shad of white, meaning more towards grey, and I think it's because they left for the 4th of July weekend and they left the coating. I was supposed to have a new light in the shower stall and he never showed up with the new light fixture and he never showed up with the paint. He gave me a $200.00 refund in the end. He determined that what wasn't done by him was equivalent of $200.00. For some reason, when you turn on the water in the sink, it almost comes out as a trickle. I felt very pressured to meet his timeline and I was not prepared to do that. I would not use him again. I would not recommend him. I believe that the guy that laid the tile is a very skilled carpenter and cabinet maker. I'm not certain that all of his skilled laborer is skilled in the project that's being done. He left me picking out my own supplies and paying for them and that was hard to find. He gave me one price when he quoted and one different when he came to do the deal which was $2,000.00 higher. He was polite. I will not call him again.

WE OBTAINED PRICE QUOTES TO REPLACE OUR ROOF. IT WAS TOO COSTLY TO HIRE OUT THE JOB AND WE DID IT OURSELVES.

ALL EMPLOYEES DID QUALITY WORKMANSHIP. ARRIVED ON TIME EVERY MORNING AND HAD THE JOB COMPLETED ON TIME. BOB WORKED WITH OUR LAYOUT AND HE MADE SUGGESTIONS ON WHICH PRODUCTS HE FELT WERE SUPERIOR. EXTREMELY SATISFIED WITH THE COMPLETED PROJECT.
