Caldarelli Roofing

Mr. Caldarelli then immediately called me back and told me I better "get my facts straight before calling Angies' List."  (Curiously, Mr. Caldarelli does not issue receipts, despite repeated requests from my mother, however, we have a copy of her cancelled check.)  I assured him I  certainly did have "my facts straight" since I have my mother's cancelled check in the amount of $700 payable to "Caldarelli Roofing."   He then called my mother and said he would be there the following day (Saturday, June 8, 2013) at noon.  He never came, never called to say he couldn't come.  My brother then sought the help of another roofer, and the two of them repaired one window which cost $210 to repair.  The roofer said that Mr. Caldarelli did not install the window flashing properly which was why the window leaked.  My brother and the roofer plan to repair the second window next Saturday.  They had to purchase a bundle of shingles since shingles had to be removed down to the wood of the roof, and the flashing replaced.  
Mr. Caldarelli called my mother the day after (Sunday, June 9) he was supposed to arrive, and he said he couldn't make it the day before as promised because he had to "go to a funeral."  
Based on this experience, I would not recommend Mr. Caldarelli.  It would appear that he has taken advantage of an elderly woman in addition to treating her rudely by not coming when he said he would and by not returning her numerous phone calls and ignoring her messages.  

After his guys cleaned up the area, they kept cleaning and scanned the perimeter. They are meticulous with a great price. The workmanship was super, couldn't have asked for better. We actually had problems with the skylights leaking later on and he even came back to fix that with his own caulking without charge even though it wasn't an issue with the roof. He was very efficient as well. He snuck me in during his busy season so the 2 days to hear back from him didn't bother me.
