Clif was very knowledgeable and friendly. There were things he pointed out in person that he failed to add to the report- so I had to incorporate my own notes.

Very well. Cliff was on time, very friendly and knowledgeable. He walked me through the steps that he was taking and went over the steps he was taking to check everything. He explained to me issues that arose, what would need to be addressed and why, and what he recommended first versus later on down the road that didn't need immediate attention. The price was better than other companies that I had found and he got to me very quickly and had my report over to me the same day.

Cliff is an excellent inspector, always our go-to inspector being real estate agents. Very reliable and efficient . Highly recommended.

He was very responsive and even came back to the home to consult on some items that would need to be addressed for the appraisal. Unfortunately, the closing on that home fell through, but we used him again for our next purchase. We were very satisfied with his knowledge and thoroughness!

Cliff was great, provided useful advice and a thorough inspection, which is critical when buying an older home as we are.  He has always been responsive, and clearly takes pride in his work.

I have personally spent time renovating older homes, and so I knew mostly what to expect, but Cliff was able to see things that I would have missed.  He was also able to tell me which of my concerns were most important, and which could be tabled until a later date.

I was wary at first that he could not do the video sewer inspection himself (used a subcontractor), but my concerns were not only unfounded, but his inspector found things that another inspector failed to discover!  Were it not for Cliff's well-chosen inspector, we would have missed a serious issue that could have cost thousands to fix!  He also was personally present during the sewer inspection, which is peace of mind for this out-of-state purchaser!

Cliff had the opportunity to inspect my first home. I was very pleased with his response and schedule. Cliff arrived to the home before I did. Our inspection only lasted about 2 hours. I really feel that he did a great job. I will certainly use him again in the future. His cost was only $475. All of the other inspectors were charging between $500 - $700. I believe that I received the same quality if not better.

I buy a couple houses per year and use cliff every time . Everything went very good, will use for all future purchases.

I am in the process of relocating to Pittsburgh from Ohio and needless to day, the whole process has been stressful. It went great! 5 Star was available within days to inspect our home with days notice.This is our first home and didn't know who to go for the inspection. Cliff was early for the inspection and explained everything he did before he started his inspection. It was a great experience for a first time user. Our realtor even said how impressed she was with Cliff and that she was going to recommend him to her clients. They are extremely reliable, honest, and detailed. The report was so amazing because it helped us with a follow-up letter to the sellers to ask them to get certain things fixed before we closed on the house. We ended up getting everything we asked for to get fixed and some money!

The inspection went well enough. The only negative I can think of is that the inspector didn't actually go up and walk on the roof, it was only inspected from the ground level. However, the building is new enough that I didn't feel the need to press the issue. I would use this service again.

Where I have seen inspectors go through a home in 30 - 45 mins, Cliff was incredibly thorough and carefully went over details that many would miss.  His friendly and open demeanor put me at ease and he explained what he was doing very well as he went along why he would note things and how to interpret those notes when his report would come through.  He would note the positive things he saw, not just items needing work.  He did ask during the inspection if he was 'holding me up' and noted that he like to take his time to 'see it all'.  I appreciated his sensitivity to my time; I'd rather trade a few minutes now for a job well done than to pay for it later!
