I have used Rand B Tree Service in the past to remove six poplar trees and was very pleased with his work. He was very punctual, answered all my questions and offered excellent advice; plus his fees are very fair. The crabapple trees still had hundreds of berries on them and my driveway was covered. I figured that when he was done I'd have to go out and sweep them all up. When he left my property it was as neat as before he started! Not a twig or berry to be seen. I was amazed and will be using his services again in the spring.

Third time I have used this tree service, and every time I have been thrilled with the job.
Because the tree was against the house, Paul OFFERED to come the next day, a Sunday! to take care of it.
This time the price actually came in about $150 below the estimate.

They did a good job and I was satisfied, overall.

Even though the tree was somewhat larger than he thought, he stuck to the estimate price. He came to give an estimate the day after I called. He spent time with me, asking me what I wanted done on my property, and making suggestions. When I called to hire him, he set up an appointment within a few days, and showed up on time. When I mentioned that I was running out to get my chainsaw sharpened, he offered to sharpen it himself, and show me how to sharpen it. We will definitely be using Paul again next year to take another tree down.

This was my first time using Angie's List. We got a total of 4 quotes from $500(but not as much work)to $2500(but some additional work). We decided to go with Rand B and their quote of $700 to complete the work described above. In total Paul and a helper spent 9-10 hours over 3 days. They were from prompt, always let me know what was going on, and very professional. I was very impressed!

The company did a great job. They made several recommendations on the best way to accomplish our goals while preserving the best look of the trees. The work was performed as scheduled very professionally and the debris was completely cleaned up.
