I hired Kulp Services on 12/27 and described the project. I was assured by Krystal that the project would be completed for a tenant move in of 1/1. We went there on 12/31, the project was barely started and blamed the fact the bathroom floors needed work so they needed more time - we allowed this and postponed the tenant move in. However, the initial project that was agreed to was barely started and definitely nowhere near completion. At this point, Crystal stopped responding to my phone calls/messages and directed me to her husband. I had asked them to provide receipts for any material purchased, they asked "why?" I found out that there was a significant markup on materials (which was not agreed to)...for example, the vanity they bought from Home Depot was $79 in the store but they were charging me $300. On Jan 13, we were told they needed final payment and the job was complete. We went and the contractor was not there and the job was not complete and they had lost our keys - they never painted the trims, paint job was terrible, some of the ceilings were not painted, the apartment was left in a very messy, kitchen flooring was not complete, tools were left on glass surfaces. We called the police and they arrived, the contractor threatened to take out the flooring but the cops told them they were not allowed to and told them to pick up their tools and leave. Overall, terrible terrible experience with Kulp and I would not recommend them to anyone.
