"Thank you for taking the time to review us. I want to address the first the fact we did infact drop the ball. I've just gone through all of our records and show only one phone call into our commercial line 6 weeks ago. I or someone should have returned your call but somehow it didn't happen. Had you called our service line it would have been sent straight to my cell and handled appropriately. As far as other emails and texts there is no record of you reaching out via those avenues, had we recieved an email it would have been responded to in a timely manor. Again, I'm not sure why you were routed to our commercial division but your call should have been returned, and I'm sorry that didn't happen. I want to address the system. It certainly does not need to be ripped out. Anyone that is intimately familiar with the system we installed would know what they are looking at. Your home had some very old wiring in it and because of that we had to use adapters and the like to get the system up. (Especially the outdoor cameras) during the initial consultation I warned you about the old wiring in the home and I would do what it would take to get it going but couldn't guarantee long term stability. Never the less if you give us another chance we could get the system back up. Finally, the interior camera you provided was a consumer camera and the company (dlink) quit supporting the camera. I was able to get one going for you but spent hours on the second on my bench trying to get it to work. All of this as a courtesy and we never billed you for it. Infact my last email to you was 18 months ago explaining this and letting you know what some options were. We never heard back reguarding how you wanted to proceed. I hope this clarifies things. I only wish you had tried to reach out before writing this review and tried calling again. As a vast majority of our other reviews state; we are very responsive and pride our selves on that. I will say there is no excuse in not returning your call and that somehow fell through the cracks. As I said I'm not sure why your call was routed to commercial sales and I'm currently investigating why that happened. I provide my cell number to all my clients, however I make aware that texting is not an acceptable form of communication as I'm constantly working in basements and texts never go through. (Considering if you had texted why didn't you also call and leave a message directly on my cell?) I have just sent you an email and will call you in a bit to try and remedy your system. If you choose to not respond that is fine and I'm sorry we lost a client. But please do not let someone take advantage of you by telling you things are complicated and need to be ripped out. Unfortunately, and in no way related to Brendon's work, I was beset with a series of problems with the LG TV newly purchased for this installation...in addition to Comcast issues! Although Brendon's responsibilities had been fulfilled, he continued to support me, in essence as a consultant, telling me what I needed to do/say with Comcast and trouble shooting the LG issue to assure it was their problem and not something with the cable service or the ancillary systems.
To add to the complexity of getting these issues resolved, LG refused to come out to look at the TV until it was taken off the wall. This meant that Brendon had to make several extra trips, coordinated with the LG tech, to remove and then reinstall the TV, as LG did their trouble shooting until they finally found the problem (the TV would work and then go out again)!
Throughout all of this, Brendon was not just cooperative and responsive--he bent over backwards to accommodate all the changes and rescheduling that occurred as LG tried to determine the problem. His demeanor throughout was supportive (and believe me I needed support) and kind. I never would have gotten through this, with my sanity intact, without his guidance.
I do want to mention also, another Signature staff member joined Brendon in some instances--I'm so sorry I've forgotten his name. He too conveyed the quiet calm of someone who knows what they're doing. In every instance they arrived exactly when they said they would and were very respectful of my home.
Without reservation, I would recommend their services!
