This company moved my grandmother a while back. She was charged for used material (boxes and mattress covers) while this is one of the most expensive companies out there with the least experienced workers.

I picked Countrywide Moving after quite long search on internet when I moved last Nov. 2018. What made me happy was they sent 4 guys rather than 2 not like the other companies, which made my moving hours very quick. Bo team was very careful and super polite. Zero problems. After moved in, I found one of my expensive box was disappeared.. I looked everywhere, no, it looked gone. I called Countrywide Moving and accused them for my stolen box. Kerry was still super nice to listen to me, she didn't react emotionally, only told me she would cooperate sincerely whatever I decided to do. My husband also called the supervisor and he answered very calm and assured that there was not a single stolen box since he opened his business. Yes. They were right. They were absolutely right........ I found that stupid box in a weird place. Nothing was lost or missing. I called Kerry and apologized, which was not enough. How could it be enough when I accused the real good honest working team who did their best to help my stuff moved.............{I wanted to die.....} I still apologize to Bo with the 3 other very very super polite guys, hope I knew their names, and Kerry who was so patient at my temper, and the supervisor. Thank you very much for all of you, I absolutely recommend this company. Plus, the rate was cheaper than any other competitors.

The team (Eric, Alex, Lamont and Miguel) were very professional and careful.   They kept everything straight that needed to go to the various locations and were extremely solicitous about asking me and double checking to be sure they understood the plan.  They took over organization of the various tasks and the order in which it would be best to get them done.   If I ever have to move again (which I sincerely hope that I do not) I would definitely want this team of guys to do it.  Jacob (the estimator) and Kerry (the office manager) were also great to work with and provided continuous support and timely updates.

I was really not happy by using Country wide moving and storage of conshocken pa. The service provided was very slow and cost increased significantly for 3 bedroom move.
Response from Countrywide Moving & Storage
"This customer found about us from Movers.com not Angie’s List. After the move which he was unsatisfied with, he proceeded to bash our company on every website available to search for moving companies, e.g. Yelp and Angie’s List (which offers a dispute resolution process). The originally scheduled move was long distance to Fairview, PA on September 28, 2014 which is a Sunday. On Sunday morning he informed us he is not moving to Fairview and would need to move his household items to our storage facility. We then changed the pricing method from a flat price to an hourly rate and we explained that this would incur two moves, plus the storage fee plus packaging material. When the mover arrived at the customer’s house, we realized that the customer doubled the amount of items. We still continued with the move and helped him move from his residence to our storage facility. We promised the customer one month plus 7 days storage free of charge. .When he moved out of our storage facility on November 17th it was 51 days of storage. This exceeded our originally promised free storage agreement. On the day of the delivery on November 17, we informed the customer that he stayed in our storage longer than first agreed upon and that he would need to pay for the additional days. The customer became extremely irate, argumentative and refused to pay. Rather than become involved in a nasty confrontation, we decided not to charge him for the extra storage time and just finish the job. The customer than placed a bad review and falsely accused us of charging him for storage and breaking items. Paperwork that the customer signed lists the free storage and pre-existing damage to items. We contacted the customer, told him he made false accusations about our company and we would take further action. That is when he decided to remove the false accusations from the Angie’s List complaint and then added new damages that he claimed we caused but were never listed on the final paperwork. When we contacted him that we do have the right to come to his home and inspect the aforementioned damages, he said he would send pictures. We informed him that pictures would not suffice and we needed to have a Claim Department representative actually come to his home and see the damages. At this point, we are still waiting for him to make this appointment. In conclusion, we feel that he is one of those customers who would never be satisfied and takes advantage of the opportunity to ruin our reputation."

The worst service I have ever seen... I have used/referred countrywide moving to MANY MANY MANY customers in which they have had so so experiences with them. Leave it them to wait till the time my mother need to move to show their true colors. HORRENDOUS service...
The guys show up and hour early to the house because they didn't want
to miss a football game on tv!!! They refused to move half of the house
after wrapping items up and saying they were okay to move. The guys said
furniture needed to be broken to get down the stairs... Instead they
needed to flip the headboard and try it another way. Two of the guys
spent half of the time sitting in the truck, smoking and watching clips
on their phone. They were rude, standoffish and ridiculously
lazy the entire day. ONLY to be topped off by the insulting and
obviously confused front office which called me a liar and sent a refund
check of 35.00 which "Im not even worth that".... Do yourself a favor
and MOVE AS FAR away as you can from this company and their terrible
service.
Response from Countrywide Moving & Storage
"Countrywide Moving & Storage always goes above and beyond to meet the expectations of our customers. In effort to do this, we ensure we arrive in a timely manner and handle the property of others as if it were our own. In light of this fact, we arrived 20 minutes early and disassembled all items that could potentially be damaged in the move. Our movers have been employed with our company for many years – they are knowledgeable, ambitious, and professional – qualities which, in large part, have contributed to our success. They worked efficiently as the entire move was completed in 5.5 hours. We are sorry that we didn’t meet the expectations of this member. This is quite puzzling as this wasn’t the message we received onsite. However, please see our many other happy customers as shown by our consistent “A” rating reviews."

Their price was significantly less than the other local movers I got estimates from. I received a call from an associate almost immediately after contacting them via email. (Compared to some other moving companies who never got back to me!) The movers were punctual, professional and extremely courteous. My items arrived in perfect condition and their final price was exactly as quoted, down to the penny. No hassle. No worries. Great experience.

Very courteous, organized and helpful.  Helped pack and loaded the truck one day, and met me in Virginia early the next morning.  Everything arrived intact, I am pleased to say.  Some add-on $ since there was more packing than anticipated.  Would recommend them to get the job done!

Countrywide was widely recommended on the internet so I contacted them. They more than lived up to the reviews. All the staff was enormously professional, efficient, accommodating, and polite. When I talked with Keri, the sales rep, she quoted me a price, and was willing to put in writing that should the move take less time, the cost would be adjusted. And it was. They arrived right in the time frame initially quoted, and the entire move took 3 hours including travel time. Let me share with readers that the more organized you are at your end, the easier and faster  the move will proceed. Also, it is very important that you identify all the items that you are moving, and keep the movers apprised should that change. For example, I ended up not moving a table and four chairs and notified Keri of that. I also told her as it got closer to the moving date how many boxes were involved.  The office staff is very good at returning phone calls and e-mails. The moving staff were very careful with my belongings, and I appreciated their courtesy and flexibility. I would recommend Countrywide to anyone, and am very pleased to sing their praises.

Not only was there a great deal of furniture and other items to move (including a grand piano and FIVE sofas), it was possibly the worst weather in which to be doing a move, short of a blizzard.  Steady and heavy rain, cold and raw.  But no matter--Phil and the crew were completely unfazed by all the difficulties and did a terrific job.  As everyone knows, there are few things more stress-filled than moving, and I am so glad I selected Countrywide.  The price was extremely fair, the men were as helpful and friendly as they were hardworking, and I could not be more pleased with the result.  I do not hesitate to give Countrywide my highest recommendation, along with my thanks.
