"First of all , the appx $ 750.00 bill was for 2 trips ( appx 1/2 hr each way travel ) , and she offered to pay for the initial trip to look at the work to be done , and INCLUDED 2 faucets , and parts needed under the sinks to install the new faucets .ALSO included , was hauling heavy trash items, from the basement , to my truck for disposal . ( I am NOT a trashman ) , but did it to keep her Happy . She also had me doing electrical troubleshooting work in the living room , that someone else screwed up , and supply a cover plate to close the hole up, so it could be painted . She also marched me around the house and asked my opinion on every plaster crack , and asked if I could fix and paint them . I am NOT a painter , but told her I could do that , just to keep her Happy . Thank God She never asked me to do that also .She told me she has NOT hired a plumber since the 70s, and Must think that the hourly rates are the same .As far as the " WOLF IN SHEEPS CLOTHING " remark .. One look and , and all can see , that She is describing HERSELF .I am in business for over 39 years, and have NEVER run into anyone like her . I feel that she pulls this , in hopes that her threats , will scare someone to lessen her bill. I charged her for whatever Time and Material that was associated to the job , just as I do for everyone else ."
