Screen Repair

Dropped off two window screens with bent frames and requested new frames.  The guy called and said he could straighten the old ones "pretty darn good" instead of making new ones, so I said OK.   Mistake--they are still bent, don't seal the window opening and look terrible.  Also, he didn't replace the broken hinge points, which would have been easy with the screen off, and he couldn't find replacements for the broken catches.  
Management said they would make me new screens, but I would still have to pay for the "repair."  So he talked me out of getting new screens, but I'm out $50 and I'm going to have to get new screens after all--somewhere else.
I believe in supporting local businesses, which is why I paid for the work instead of leaving it unclaimed, but I won't use this business again.  They don't stand behind their work.
